What's new

It was a jk

Looking real good.

Are you keeping the tailgate between the bed and the rest of the Jeep tub?

yep, keeping the tub as is, this way I know it still deals up and keeps the kiddo and momma dry. I’ll build a tailgate for the bed part one of these days

Driveshafts showed up, nice quality work from Tom woods. More PSC parts showed up so I can finish my steering. Then on to wiring hopefully it goes smooth. Also picked up some 18.4s for a buddy while he’s out of town working. Of course I had to slap two of them on and see how it looked

Following along to see this thing finished and hit the trails. :grinpimp:

Update time. Got it start a weekend before Christmas after messing around with my regulator was t slowing fuel to fly thru. Have my exhaust built. Forgot my muffler... have to add that back in later. Got the transmission fan cooler and radiator mounted. Wired up. Waiting on the rpm extremes controller to run the pentastar fan. Then it’s ready for a test drive. Also ordered tires. 20l-24s about 56”x20”. Should be here come mid March. Built my tailgate. Have lots of little things to do and paint. Still don’t know what color to do.

Built a glovebox. Still figuring out my latch set up 5” tall 7” deep 9.5” wide. Got the controller for the fan wired in from rpm extreme. Works like a dream. Instructions were super easy to follow. Changed my tire order to some they had in stock so my wait time goes to 3-4 weeks instead of 3-4 months. Stoked about that. Have some 18.4-26 r2s on the way

Slapped the top and doors back on. Painted the dash and got the seats back in it. Started building my rear wheels wells. Trying to get this thing ready for when my tires show up I don’t have to put it back in the garage. As it’ll be tooo tall to fit back in

Been busy enjoying it, I’ve got my tires for it now and finally painted it yesterday. Only had a few quirks to work out. It now has 2.5 king air shocks and dual triangulated uppers on the front. It’s been a blast to get out and use it. Really really need to build some steps so I don’t have to keep hoisting momma and the kiddo into it

What a great daily driver! 100% street legal in Wyoming.

How fast will it go on pavement?
I’ve gotten it up to 55 cruising down the road. Hands off the wheel drove perfectly straight. I’d do it again anytime.

Also broke my first axle shaft, broke the inner short side

I’ve already got a few upgrades I want to do, just now to save for them, an Atlas, link the rear and put ORIs all the way around.

Just been using and abusing it, Bens holding up pretty well. Hauled some junker cars out of a known wheeling area.
lookin at adding a second trans cooler just to keep it from getting hot, it gets to 180s when pushing on it but rather be safe than sorry.
