Interesting Craigslist finds

I'm kinda sad every time I think about it
surplus machinery place went to auction and I had no room at the time, living it the parent's basement

guy had a sheet steel corrugater, made the wide rib tin and the narrow rib tin
two or three 20' or larger press brakes
pallets and pallets of dies for above
amongst massive amounts of other hardware and hydraulic parts

90% of it sold to one man who just hauled it down the street to the scrap man

$1500, not bad if you have a way to move around 13k of machine.

someone needs to make this thing work again. $2,500 in Mass

That's probably the one I almost bought for <$1k about a year and a half ago. The seller emailed me the morning of and said he was gonna sell it to a highschool aquaintance instead. Lack of tire tracks to or from where it is seems to indicate that didn't work out or the machine exceeded their mechanical capabilities.

I remember that one, it looks very similar if its not the same one.

No price listed, might be giraffe pussy idk. I'm real tempted to pick up one of the radius dies if he has one with CLR as that is compatible with a 1-1/4-1.5 tubing bent in a 4.5 CLR die.

I'm still kicking myself for not getting this stuff (and more not pictured) from a woman that was clearing out her dead husband's shop. Probably would have given it to me for free or less than scrap. My truck was in the shop getting a new motor and it wasn't fitting in my rental....though about a 1,000lbs of other shit did. Pretty sure it ended up in the scrap bin after I left.

So what is something like that used for? logging and mining on the Tundra?

Does the aux tank on the bed increase the fuel range to 100 miles between fill ups?

When I was in Canada, I got to ride in a Rollagon. It was simaler, but it would float if not loaded too heavy. That guy hired out to anybody that needed it. Mostly he delivered building supplies to camps out in the bush.

Just me or does $6k seem like a pretty good deal for this thing?

Worth the asking price if you are in the market for one. They don't have the appeal on the market of the regular pw or the carryall.

Hipster retro overland rig? :flipoff2:
First thing I thought. I don't want it but you could turn around and put another zero on that price tag if you put in some work and marketed it to the right crowd.

Or park it out front of a brewery or coffee shop

No, that’s not an auxiliary tank on the bed. It’s big enough to require placards if fuel is in it. 500 pounds is the cutoff limit till placards are required. New oil doesn’t require placards, but used oil does. So, im guessing it is oil for equipment. Or maybe hydraulic oil.

there is so much WTF on that thing I can't even comprehend. $70k and the exhaust tips don't even align.

my favorite is the "pedal box"
