Contrary to my ass
Yes those people constantly buy garbage but there's a pattern to it. They buy garbage they're nostalgic for. There might be a couple people buying Avacado green these days because it reminds them of grandma's house but they're a drop in the bucket. The big trend would have been during the 00s housing boom when all the dumbass boomers were fixing and flipping houses and installing shit reminiscing of their childhood homes could have possibly taken off, but it didn't. The trend might come around again in 10-20yr when all that shit seems antique the generation buying homes and fixing them up if it does it won't be as strong as it would have been had it come around in the 00s.You seem to be out of touch with what city people, hipsters, and Californians will spend money on.
You could make a legit biz from the east coast trucking ugly toilets, sinks, and bath tubs to cali, and bringing back pre emissions trucks.
Right now early 1900s styled furnishings are somewhat trendy because basically nobody who's of age to be buying shit like that actually remembers using it and it all seems novel to people. Avocado green and all the other retarded mid-century trends will need to get to that point before they come back around.
