Would I buy it? No.
I won't talk shit about it either.
I should have built one of those for my deer lease 30 years ago instead of buying and remodeling a camper.

Beats the hell out of a tent. I slept in one of those for several year until I bought a clapped-out camper and totally remodeled it. New sub floor, sheet vinyl finished floor, built bunks, replaced about 25% of the wall and roof framing, new wall and ceiling paneling, new tires, ect. It was sweet when I was done.:homer:

Who wants to be my neighbor?
It's between my present house and the new house. About 10 minutes away from each.

50k an acre with no utilities in the middle of nowhere Georgia? Am I missing the gold bars buried somewhere?

It's Oconee County. Not much for sale. Power, phone and fiber optic internet are county wide. Most likely you would drill a well on that tract. Best schools in the state.

On the downside, not much diversity. Just white folks.

That's not a bad price. I have two parcels (5 acres and 2 acres) I'm selling, scheduled to close next month for 300k each.

It a bit of a project, but I'd buy it if it was close.I'd beat him a down a bit.

That is on a steel Peterbilt air ride frame. Done right it would be bitchin, now it's just $9,000 overpriced junk. Would ride nice.

Co worker of
Mine is buying 22 acres with an old livable house in Carlton for $450 ish

Not sure what county it’s in .

We just finished doing a environmental assessment at one of the properties at the main intersection in bishop

Was an old gas station

Wish this was closer
I’d buy this baby and convert it to 4wd

All the 4wd ones are rusty overpriced junkers
But some of the 2wd ones are pristine and priced right .

Yes. Rust buckets with missing parts bring 10-20k. You may find one for 7-9k on occasion.

Selling one?
I drove a long way to look at a rusted one that was supposed to have a new efi engine and rebuilt trans for $26k "runs and drives great" and it was a total barely running trans slipping piece of crap. On the way home I found another one that was $25k that was way better than the first one but still needed about everything. I got outbid during the 2 minute extension on one at BAT yesterday.
The probably stupid move on my part is the idea of daily driving an early bronco and selling my Gladiator which works pretty much perfect for my needs. The idea is to go from a depreciating asset to a hopefully appreciating asset(or holding it's ground) I may not end up doing it but hunting for a possible bronco to start with.
