Anyone else following this? I know we have industrial designers, engineers, etc. here and they keep asking "hardcore offroaders" for opinions s0... I'll start, it has a solid front axle, whoopty doo. The front hanger for the rear link looks like an invitation to, "Here, tear me off."

It's a new Defender?

Plagiarized version of the Defender, with a BMW (German electric reliability) engine, built in france.

I'd start by asking if there really is a market, and if so why did JLR stop making them.

Don't forget to add a little G wagon.

Did JLR stop making them, or just stop trying to sell them here? They (and Benz) had new of basically that in the showrooms the last time I was in Europe, which granted wasn't this year, but wasn't decades ago.

I agree, it looks like a Rover/Gwagon/Patrol to me too, available various places around the world in configurations that we don't get here. Seems dumb to me to build a pickup truck for rest-of-world and not sell it in the biggest pickup truck market in the world.
