Is the best place to purchase directly from HP Tuners?

I bought HP Tuners from GPI. Not sure if it's better to go straight through HP Tuners or not.

MPVI3 is $400 on the GPI website. I have the older MPVI2 version, and if you can find it for cheaper, I'd just get one of those for 3rd or 4th gen GM V8 tuning. Later model cars might be a different situation.
