What year?

That windscreen is tall and mighty :flipoff2:
I cant remember maybe an 80 or 81. I bought it from a neighbor for $500. He said his dad bought it new and the engine was recently rebuilt. Its not charging now. I need to get it on the road but other projects have taken all my time and money. The windshield is definitely coming off and so are the weird sideways handlbars. Ive rode it around the neighborhood a little but dont want to get stranded out of town since I dont have a motorcycle license yet.

Here's my 2006 KLR 650 while we're on the side of the road replacing the fuel pump in my buddies 1940 Plymouth earlier today. No issues with the KLR though :smokin:

Second one is up at 4 peaks when we had some good rain in the middle of summer, got to drive through the clouds getting to the top.

My DRZ400SM and my wife’s XT250. When we got up over 10,000’, my crude as hell carbed bike ran fine, and her fuel injected bike backfired continuously.

I guess I probably ought to check my plug to see if I’m way lean at Oklahoma elevations…

I have too many but I'm getting better. This is just all but one of the bikes that live inside, my '73 LT3 was in pieces and not rolling when I took this. I have an '85 VF500C Magna stays outside and didn't make the pic either along with the 3 and 4 wheelers.

'80 JR50
'71 TS125
'70 AT1
'72 XL250
'72 DT2 (sold)
'95 KDX200

Is the XL250 missing something?

Engine was on the bench at the time. Honda decided making it so you had to split the cases to replace the seal the clutch pushrod runs through was the right thing to do and wouldn't you know that was the only seal that leaked after I woke it up from a 10 year slumber. One of these days I'll round up the rest of the seals and finish the top end so that thing can find a new home. I want to get down to just the KDX, AT1 and the JR50.

Just busting your balls. I had an xl350 in the 70’s but it never needed any major work. All I did to it was put a Preston Petty front fender on it and ride the bejeezus out of it. Fun bike.

My first bike was an 86 XL250R.
