ID of 14B FF?

Have a 2005 2500HD with a full float 14B . I am seeing that 10.5 and 11.5 are both listed for this truck. How do I tell the difference ?

11.5 is aam not 14b
aam come in both sizes.

Look at the pinion on the axle, does it have 6 bolts around it to remove the housing?

Yes? 14b, small lunch box locker
No? Aam, full carrier locker.

Note that the full carrier is gm & chrysler, that means aam. where as the lunchbox is listed as gm only.

Yes it looks like the 14B in my CUCV. Pinion is in a removable-six bolt deal. Thank you.
