Advocacy groups have filed a complaint against a migrant detention centre in the US, alleging medical neglect and a lack of virus safety measures.

The complaint condemns the practices and conditions at the private Irwin County Detention Center in Georgia.

It is based on the allegations of a whistleblower, a nurse identified as Dawn Wooten.

She worked at the centre, which houses immigrants detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

As part of her complaint, filed on Monday, Ms Wooten expressed concerns about the high number of hysterectomies performed on Spanish-speaking women at the centre.

The nurse said detained women told her they did not fully understand why they had to get a hysterectomy - an operation involving the removal of all or part of the uterus.

The complaint also alleges "jarring medical neglect" during the coronavirus pandemic, including a refusal to test detainees with symptoms and fabricating medical records.

"I became a whistleblower, now I'm a target," Ms Wooten said at a press conference on Tuesday. But, "I'll be a target anytime", she said, rather than staying a part of what she called an "inhumane" system.

Speaking to reporters, Ms Wooten alleged gross misconduct at the centre with respect to Covid-19 precautions, and said she was demoted after protesting the conditions and staying home while symptomatic.

One of the first acts by Adolf Hitler after the Reichstag Fire Decree and the Enabling Act of 1933 gave him de facto legal dictatorship over the German state was to pass the Law for the Prevention of Hereditarily Diseased Offspring (Gesetz zur Verhütung erbkranken Nachwuchses) in July 1933.[SUP][64][/SUP][SUP][65][/SUP] The law was signed by Hitler himself, and over 200 eugenic courts were created specifically as a result of this law. Under it, all doctors in the Third Reich were required to report any patients of theirs who were deemed intellectually disabled, characterized mentally ill (including schizophrenia and manic depression), epileptic, blind, deaf, or physically deformed, and a steep monetary penalty was imposed for any patients who were not properly reported. Individuals suffering from alcoholism or Huntington's Disease could also be sterilized. The individual's case was then presented in front of a court of Nazi officials and public health officers who would review their medical records, take testimony from friends and colleagues, and eventually decide whether or not to order a sterilization operation performed on the individual, using force if necessary. Though not explicitly covered by the law, 400 mixed-race "Rhineland Bastards" were also sterilized beginning in 1937.[SUP][66][/SUP][SUP][67][/SUP] The sterilization program went on until the war started, with about 600,000 people sterilized.[SUP][68][/SUP]

By the end of World War II, over 400,000 individuals were sterilised under the German law and its revisions, most within its first four years of being enacted. When the issue of compulsory sterilisation was brought up at the Nuremberg trials after the war, many Nazis defended their actions on the matter by indicating that it was the United States itself from whom they had taken inspiration. The Nazis had many other eugenics-inspired racial policies, including their "euthanasia" programme in which around 70,000 people institutionalised or suffering from birth defects were killed.[SUP][69][/SUP]

See, not everything hitler did was bad. More retards should be dealt with so the herd isn't weakened and it's not like there is a shortage of mexican breeding going on sooo what's the problem again?

I'm calling bullshit on the whistleblower story but a boy can dream can't he? :flipoff2:

Maybe that is why Germany has such low death in Covid19 cases? :flipoff2:

If their goal is to reduce Hispanic offspring its not working. Living it a popular Hispanic area they have plenty of kids. They also dgaf about masks

Very expensive, invasive surgery. So we're doing "jarring medical neglect" and at the same facility spending millions on needless surgery.

She's pulling a Jussie Smollett. Doesn't matter, idiots will believe her.

Yea, Juan has bad strep throat... they're gonna tell him to take some ibuprofen and fuck off. But Juanita feels fine... has 2 kids... so they're going to drop 10 grand on making her sterile. In a facility that has a team dedicated to watching every last penny.

But but but but literally hitler, fascism, holocaust and systemic racism!!!!

Did I hit all the buzzwords?

I'm betting the surgeries, if they happened, were medically necessary due to the illegal immigrants lack of heath care in their home country and the trip to the US.

possible that they're bilking the taxpayers?

a local metal health place here just had two doctors and the owner sentenced on like $20 million dollars of billed treatments that didn't happen or were unnecessary. Seems they gave everyone that entered siboxone and billed the state for drug rehab, even if they weren't drug addicts....

Even if it were true, the women could just go back across the border and not come back. Then they wouldn't have a chance of getting the surgery or be at risk for covid. Seems pretty simple to me.

This is the second article I've read about this situation. But this is what sticks out in both.

Translation- she was the loud flappy handed bitch at work that wanted 4 weeks off paid leave for her allergies (denied), and since everyone there is "always against her", she's finally coming forward.

what do i win?

This is pretty much what I expect to hear in a couple weeks when the “fact checkers” are done sleuthing.

Anybody else notice that the "whistleblower" is a "ms" not a "Mrs"?
sure, could be a coincidence, but given the context of the accusations, I'm thinking it's correlation

also, eugenics, and eugenics in this country in the 20th century is something y'all should look into. Lots of Nazi sympathizers moved into positions of power, and lots of currently powerful people have ties to eugenics, it's a pretty good look behind the curtain

When the fuck did they start giving out free hysterectomies'?? My wife is probably going to need one and maybe I'll send her ass down south with a poncho and a sumbrero.... get that shit taken care of! Shiiiiit..... Dr told us last year that if the issues she has had since our last kid occur again that we may be looking at a full hysterectomy(he said they probably will), about $3,500 out of pocket(decent company insurance), plus what ever bull shit bill the hospital sends us.

OP is an idiot..... I agree with whom ever said that if anyone received one that it was probably a medical necessity!

That is the sad part of media.... Throw out what ever bull shit story and let it stick to the wall. Then people have to work to prove it's bullshit, but the bullshit always leaves a stain on the wall you can't get off!
