Sold a thing today so now I can start on the next victim.

I came across tis cage on some light research and I haven't priced anything out yet , but I'm pretty sure I couldn't buy the material for this much currently.


Not a big Poison Spyder fan I have installed a bunch of their stuff in the past on customer rigs and it all turned out ok.

They never seemed like they were selling more than they advertised.

If nothing else it seems like a decent start.

I got a few quotes for $10/ft for 1 3/4x120 Dom last summer.

I count roughly 60 feet to build that cage. So ~$600 for just tube.

I like that kit except for the lack of triangulation over the front seats. Although there is nothing saying you can't add and/or subtract tubes.

Fwiw, those types of cage kits are pretty nice to put together if you haven't done one.

I just bought 1.75x.120 dom on Monday. Paid 8.17 per foot from Alro.

I have one of those style kits from genright in my LJ. I wish I had been the one to install it but I do like it.

Ya, I've seen it a bunch too. Imo, hrew is basically useless if you ever need it.

I've seen guys build rock sliders out of it

I'm at the point where my time is worth something to me. Sucks to spend a bunch of time building something only to have a hard flop fuck it all up. Next cage I do may just be chromo for that reason
