What's hydro-dip? Electrodeposition?

Seems like electrodep should be taking over the small powder-coating job shops by now. Must be the environmental chemicals drive the cost up too much, but for box frames and other like parts it's superior. I saw them electrodep stuff that's pretty intricate, but what do I know I just worked on the computers there.

I realized that after I re-read the thread.

Yeah I know that process by another name. I don't have anything to offer better than a YT video. We did all the wood grain in Lexuses, they were very good at it, but I don't know the process better than a couple of guys on your video.

Electrodeposition was what I was babbling about. Basically powder-coating in a water based solution.
