What's new

Hydes budget one ton Ranger

regarding the 302 with a turbo, been there done that
during and afterwords I was kicking myself for not just going with a gen3/4 GM motor
even if you're paying someone else to tune it, it'll just be easier to get a good result
I appreciate the thought but I'm one of those weird diehards that has to keep engines Ford. The Chevy engine would be way easier but I just won't bring myself to do it

Survived Naches 2021 with only minor casualties. I knew my traction bar bracket was underbuilt so no surprise when it got ripped in half, also has a small wire fire when the factory door switch failed and the fuse melted together instead of fusing

Looks like a good time.

Why do you think traction bar brackets failed?
The upper bolt loosened up last year at Naches and warped both plates, I never plated in the back of the brackets either so it just kept bending and loosening bolts until it failed
