How much PAG oil is supposed to be in this?

Ordered it from Rock Auto and I realized it never said it was prefilled, there was no instructions with the compressor in the box. I am assume it is empty so I don't frag the new compressor. I didn't think to check it before bolting it in place so the plan is to pull it and see if there is oil in it or not. If the is oil in it I will put it back in and reinstall. If there is nothing in it I will put the proper amount in and reinstall. I just need to figure out how much it takes.

Drain the oil out of both, add the amount drained out of the old compressor to your new one.

Hoping that one has a sump full of oil to compare it to. Good point on the suggestion.

The only thing you can do is guess. If it was me I'd probably put 3oz in it, I do a lot of A/C work.

I finally found a sticker, 3.4oz. I took the compressor back out, drained the 1oz out of it and put the correct amount back in. I put 24 oz of r134a in and knock on wood it seems to work.
