I'm curious how many people are out there in the world who do not have their finger prints on file anywhere.

I was 21 when I applied for a CCW and gave mine up for the first time. Then later I had to do it again for a professional license. I've never been arrested, but I'm in the system anyway. I assume most of you are in the same boat. Who's not?

I was off grid until a few years ago when work made me get a TWIC card. Still have yet to use it. Was traveling right after that and didn't even need to show my passport at customs because of the face scanner.

Nitrile gloves and ski masks it is boys.

Pretty sure you still need to give a finger print whenever you have a document Notarized?

I think I was duped into getting fingerprinted when I was a little kid in the cub scouts and we visited a police station.

Come to think of it I may have also given them when I tried to get a pistol permit in NY almost 20 years ago. All the fucking effort and never did get the damn permit. One of my references filled out in the form in blue ink. NY mandates black. Yes my fault ultimately. There were some other hoops they claimed I didn't jump through correctly, and I just gave up like the process is designed to make people do.

You fucking kids...............:shaking:

You USED to have to give a thumb print when you voted

Oh, the horrors
Not sure if that was directed at me, but I'm 52 and never needed to provide a finger print to vote. State laws vary.

Again, state laws vary. I'm a notary in Idaho and it's not a requirement here.

I just found my TWIC card this week, expired, and unused too. Thank you employer

MA LTC
Passport?
Nuclear plants
Birth certificate?
Help from the good guys

Probably a few more.

A larger question is how many TIMES have you been fingerprinted and why the various Local, State, and Federal databases can't communicate with each other.

And, using prints is archaic for any sort of crime fighting technique. DNA is the hotness and soon it will be the pre-cogs arresting you before you know you even committed a crime.

I have Hazmat endorsement on my CDL

Back ground check and fingerprinting required every few years.

Yeah,
Growing up in the People's Republic of Commiefornia probably has something to do with that.
I'm 58

I told my kid to not only no, but fuck no on that one
she has made it to high school and only been expelled once so far
This was late 80's. Pretty sure all the parents were clueless . I vaguely remember it as the cops turning it into a "fun activity" for us to see what it was like to be a cop.

They also had us all in the D.A.R.E program. Pretty sure that just increased every kid's curiosity about them bad drugs :lmao:

that was protocol when I was there at the same time period. I see what they were doing looking back on it.
yes, DARE taught us all how to find our drugs

For professional license, carry permit, to volunteer in kids school.

Notary also does thumbprint at various times for legal docs and home purchases, not sure where that ends up? Probably on their shelf for 20 years until trashed.

I made it to 33, then I had to register with the county Sherriff to work in a Las Vegas casino, even though I wasn't on the gaming side, (they've since changed that so now only the gaming side of the house is required). Then when I got arrested for reckless driving, then when I got my CCW, then when I got a suppressor, then when Clinton was going to come speak at a governors conference, then for a few more suppressors, I've lost track honestly.

Never have been. They had it at school when I was a kid, my dad made me participate. I also opt out of all the biometric bs they have at the airport. I know they probably have me on 1M different cameras I don't know about but fuck giving up my "self" willingly.
