His pics. He's just trying to fuck over whomever buys it nowIs it your pics or his?
Jesus christ, I'm about to HGTD this thread.
It was made for entertainment and was a funny story. Then I tried to be a nice guy and even posted tits n ass pics. But as soon as the word "gun" gets mentioned, people gotta pull their dicks out and make it a contest...
Shut the fuck up guys
And at the center of both of them is a Toyota Tacoma. Coincidence?? I think not!"insurance" triggers the same response
What are you complaining about? His pics. He's just trying to fuck over whomever buys it now

I'm on page 9, so I'm hoping that the pool guy posts more pics of his wife in her underwear to get this thread back on track.Well this thread sure went to hell
If there was "my dick is in a chicken" porn, that'd be the guy postingToo high to throw in anything
I deal with lots of people who will pay literally anything below asking simply based on the asking price. It is a deep thing in the subconscious for some, regardless of background. I find it foolish, if I see a screaming deal I'm in. May be a cultural thing?I live in the middle of nowhere in southern Oregon. Usually deal with decent people and haven't had any issues worth mentioning selling stuff. Just the usual stuff.
However, I was selling a car to a guy from the Sacramento area. The kind of car that would appeal to a certain demographic.
Guy drives up and just has a way above average skeptical nature to him. He was sure the car had a leak, rubbed the drain plug twice. Plugged in his code reader two different times. I keep telling him the car was as good as I said it was. It was like he wanted it to be bad. Kept crawling all over it.
I am getting tired of his business. I told him "Look, I told you price was firm I am leaving". I leave he calls me immediately and says he has to get something on me. I said if he agreed to $20 off, I would pull over in about one mile. I did and he bought it.
I sold an expensive car for $20.00 off LOL.
Not fun, and the worst part was feeling like I needed to watch him the whole time. There was another person in the car he drove up in, but they stayed in the car.
Seems like these type of experiences are going to become more common.
Sold wife’s shitty flower delivery van recently, listed for 1650/1700 (don’t remember) and sold for 1250. I expected $1200 because that’s what we paid 3 or 4 years ago, but I know the type of people buying a low mileage 2005 Chrysler town and country touring are needing a deal. Planning on the lowball and call their bluff when they make the offer.I deal with lots of people who will pay literally anything below asking simply based on the asking price. There have been multiple IBBers talk about pricing shit absurd on purpose so they had room to knock the price off.May be a cultural thing?
I price my shit to sell, not haggle. Low balls get ignored and the "but I'll bring cash" offers get answered with "I'm only accepting cash". 9/10 times the buyer hands me asking price in $100 bills. If they are decent about it, I might drop a little. There have been multiple IBBers talk about pricing shit absurd on purpose so they had room to knock the price off.
I don't remember who said it because it pales in comparison to a lot of the other absurd sales tactics that get advocated for around here but if it was anyone respectable I think I would have remembered.

Do you think he would have really let you go for $20 if you said no?
Edit: I would have taken the offer just curious if you think he'd have really walked

He may have. He drove 5+ hours after I told him it was firm. He wanted to find something wrong really badly. I doubt he was unethical, or at least highly so. I didn't have 30 seconds on my way home when he called. Honestly, I had received some bad news that day and didn't have a lot of patience which I normally do. I wanted to ignore the call, but I got a decent price and I asked myself if I wanted to be right or happy?I deal with lots of people who will pay literally anything below asking simply based on the asking price. I actually got a belly laugh out of it and found it comical. He really just wanted to "win". If a $20 is what it takes, I guess he is a winner.I've seen people who drove a lot farther than 5 hours get told to fuck off after they threw out a lowball. Watching that level of fuck you is rather entertaining
