Trust me i get it. But your answer of Zero furthers what i said. You having a gun will never deter another from doing anything with theirs if they are coming with intentions to rob and shoot you.

I'd rather let them know how im coming beforehand. And often reiterate it during the hello and handshake. But then again i wouldn't entertain that much of a lowball offer with anything less than have a blessed day Bro, then click.
 
I don't know................dealing with a pair of muzzies........a bomb disposal suit might have the best bet. Them folks have a habit of detonating when you least expect it.

Although in this case they offered more to get him hooked. Which is probably a red flag.

In high school, I had a dude send two pumps of what I'm guessing was birdshot my way while I traversed a portion of his property with my dumb friends in a jeep. We made it over the hill and out of sight before he got a third off. My billy badass response was to say "oh shit!" and then drive the opposite way as fast as I could. :laughing:

Exactly. I plink a 6" target with my ar at 300, my long gun (zeroed at 300) I fuck around at 1k... but that's a 36" plate so doesn't count. Out here a 3-400y shot isn't a big deal when you're on one side of the gulley and the muley is on the other.

It's sad that people think 300 is a long shot with a rifle.

Funny, in middle school I got nailed in the back with birdshot enough for it to sting and leave some marks. I rode my dirt bike home to tell my dad so he could go kick some ass. All he said was something along the lines of "well now you know to stay off that guys property"
 
I was looking to buy a car that had suspicious low miles.
Called up local dealerships and found the one that serviced this car. They said the mileage at last visit was way more than the ad and odometer claims.

Called the guy and told him to meet me at local police station to make the deal. He didn't show.

I have an AR for the past 8 ish years. I've shot once. XD9M which I've shot 3 time in 10 years. allegedly

I'm sure you would have won the Olympics with your outstanding display of marksmanship. :flipoff2:

I haven’t taken part in the dick-swinging, but I have been shot at. When I was about 18 I was grouse hunting on foot. I was crossing a clear cut up on a ridge and someone below me started popping small caliber rounds, probably a .22. It took or three shots for me to realize what the whistling sound I was hearing as the bullets went past. :homer: The 12 gauge I was carrying wasn’t much help in that situation.

I’ve been shot at twice while in a group. Both on the street when I was in high school. Had guns pulled on me multiple other times. Products of growing up in the wrong area and, mostly, hanging out with the wrong people. Had one friend die and another get seriously injured in a drive by. It’s definitely not fun.

Friend who died was hit by a .22. Caught him right behind the ear.

Dont know how real the story is but a dude I know was in a metal boat fishing on the lake. His brother started shooting birdshot (I think) into the air. the bb's started raining down on the guy in the boat. He wasnt very happy. :homer:
