That said, I had a pile of collected parts for a rat rod build I couldn't get 2k for. I had a couple weeks of afternoons, I bought 700 worth of tires and wheels, I steam cleaned and sprayed a junkyard engine/ tranny combo and mocked it up, I got a bunch of interest, sold it as a roller to a guy wanting a Chevy engine, then sold the powertrain to a ford guy
If you've got a good plan and vision, maybe spend a weekend making it look like something
Edit: a title helps sell projects like that, buyers often over estimate the time and expense
