Help refresh my memory please. AR guys

Now that I have another decent rifle with optics, I want to put an A2 upper on my dissipator instead of a removable handle. I can’t find the original upper specs on PSA website but the carry handle upper I want does not have M4 feed ramps. . Will that be a problem if my barrel has the extensions? Do I just keep searching for a better upper?

No, it will run fine. Only combo you want to avoid is an M4 feed ramped upper with a rifle extension barrel (no M4 cuts) due to it creating a lip rounds can hang up on.

Yeah are you trying to build an A1 style? In which case you want to also swap out the handguard, PG, and hand guards.
If you are not looking for the true A1 look, then stick with the A2. Rear sight manipulation is better

Check the sight height of the carry handle on a flat top vs a carry handle upper. The difference could change your sight picture, zero, and amount of adjustment.
It did for me.
