I know we’ve got a few electrical/controls/industrial guys here.

I’m looking for an encoder.

I’m out of the office for the next five or six hours on a road trip so I can’t actively look til I I get back

So that one looks discontinued. Have you tried calling their tech support to see if they have a replacement model with the same or similar enough specs?

Yeah.

Long story short….

We bought a new Nidec Arisa servo press a couple years ago with all Siemens controls and we don’t have the ability to support it directly, which shouldn’t be an issue since we have 5 years support in the deal.

Well, Nidec has been terrible supporting their own shit.

I’ve got feelers out everywhere, but no luck so far.

We mostly use BEI for engine stuff, they do a lot of make to order encoders. Might be worth contacting them.

That's much easier to get to than the ones I deal with

All the bs in the way. The light blue thing is the encoder and its depth sensitive. If its on to far, or to far away, it won't work. The one on the back tram motor is even worse to change
