Harbor Freight/Badlands Apex 12000

I have a 12000 lb i have used on a trailer a few times. Other than being slow as hell works good. I was looking at gigglepin stuff and ran across this. Never heard of DK2 but their close out prices seem pretty good.

Their non closeout stuff seems a bit high. They even have a dual motor 10k lbs deal but it is expensive.

Looks like they stacked 2 motors on a regular 10k lb winch.

i just bought one for my jeep...but im at the point jn my life that i do not plan on using it

with 20 percent off and rope im happy with it.....

couple of guys in my club had the old hf winchs....and they held up fine with multiple uses ...but yes..they were unbelievable slooooow

Wanted to update.

So the badlands 12k with syn rope on the jeep...
And a factory warn 12k on a power wagon...

We were winching a conex off a trailer ...it got stuck...both winches were hooked through a pulley....both winches ran about the same speed and BOTH stalled at the same time.

So... the badlands series 12k winch I would use again...599.00 On sale vs the warn Evo 12 s at 1100...

I bought that one and it came in about a week ago. Looks good enough especially for $122. I haven’t mounted it or used it yet. It will go on a cradle mount to pull tractors out of the mud when needed.
