What does everyone use/recommend regarding grease for zerk fittings/bearings etc?

In my case I'm about to swap in Warn hubs and want to know what to use.

I use this in everything .

Schaeffer Manufacturing Co. 02212-029 Moly Ultra Grease NLGI #2, 14 oz.

I don’t use moly in roller bearings. Use a lithium based grease like Mobil 1. You want to grease to liquify when warm so it lubricates the bearing.

Im anti Schaefer oil. Not a fan of their stuff. Stick to the big boys for you oil and grease needs.

For anything sealed that I don't intend to go back into any time soon: hi temp red stuff. Usually Valvoline.

For tractors and zerks on non-sealed stuff: Cheap CAL Ranch/Tractor supply with some kinda molly added. I think the last stuff I bought was called MystiQ, or something like that.

Anything with a zerk that is open to the elements is going to get flushed out and changed regularly or it is toast regardless. So I don't see any reason to spend big money on it... spend it on a good grease gun instead and one of those lock-n-lube things.

Whatever is free or cheap.
Have about 40 tubes of random stuff from work.
Any grease is better than none. Free grease is even better.

Grease is confusing.

At work we have easily 20 different flavors that we sell.

Most common is. Chevron Ultra Duty and UltiPlex.
No idea that difference of them all. About need a degree and even then.
I'm supposed to go through Chevron school soon which will be helpful I hope.

As long as you're not mixing incompatible soap bases who cares.

I use cheap synthetic house brand blue wheel bearing grease for wheel bearings and shell S2 for chassis as its free at work.

Any grease is better than no grease lol.

Moly greases better for couplings or slow rotating pins. (tractor equipment).
