Who's found good ebay/other site sellers for tools and materials? Post them up here.

Cutoffs - mostly steel rod, some pipe. Have good selections of the better stuff like 12l14, 1144, 4140. Prices are good and seem to be more than happy to shove enough in a flat rate envelope to piss your mailman off. They keep me stocked with a lot of lathe materials

Huge selection of aluminum bits in hobby quantities. Prices are not the best you can get but the selection is really good and the organization is great

Good luck so far with these guys on some insert tooling and bits. Accurately described and they tend to put real dimensions in the ad, not expect you to search pictures for the size

Tons of ti options, and most will sell down to the 1" or 6" chunk. Their search/filter is strange to use but it does work.

Note - this is for places in the business of scrap/offcuts/liquidation that will likely continue to do business, not a review of some random dude who sold the spare parts of his project at a good price

Damnit man. I spent about 2 hours on their site last night.

I'm concerned for my wallet on how cheap you can pick up a VMC now. Fuck.

Shipping was cheap too. I bought a shear from them. 15k lbs from Ohio to New York $1300.

Now you have me hunting there for a motor for the belt grinder project. I wonder if they have any mag chucks...

The Uhaul ebay store has tons of shit at middle of the road prices and a minority of old shit at amazing prices.

Im lucky its 10 hours away

Pshhhh. That's only a day's drive.

You can do what I did when I picked up my mill....leave at 9pm and head south. Stop and nap for a couple hours along the way and get there around 9am. Load up and hit the road and be back home by 9pm. That was fucking miserable.

Yea I start fading fast at the 20hr mark. Made a NY to south FL trip very often and the last two hours I have trouble with. Worst was taking my beat tj with half missing soft top. I don't think I could hear for a day after driving that shaking wandering junk.

I've got friends in western Ohio I see occasionally and may need to make a pit stop and check the place out in person.

I bought a ton of cheap 4" flap discs from a seller on eBay - usually has a 10 pack for $13, free shipping:

brand of flap discs is "toolman". They work good but dont last as long as good-er flap discs.
