Giving the youtubes thing a shot.....

I subscribed.

When it comes to youtube, I like the real world content that most can relate to. Older trucks, working in the dirt , lower budget and things not always working out the first time. Mix that in with some Toyota/Samurai trail wheeling and I'll watch it all.

I would be interested in some vids showing basic fabrication tips and techniques. I'm always trying to learn something.

Good luck

Good lu

very true. like that genrite 4x4 channel for example is so far over the top its hard to even watch a vid even though it might be a cool trail you want to learn more about.

i also like the getting it done at home with what you got. because some day that all you got in the middle of no where.

So my MIL had a decent idea after seeing a story about a kid being crushed by a car on a jack.

Do a short video on how to safely jack up your rig on the trail, to throw a tire or log under the axle incase the jack slips.
Great idea!

This will sound stupid, but give a disclaimer that your guidance is not exhaustive and folks are responsible for their own safety. I'd hate to see some farkwad painus sue you for trying to keep idiots from scoring a Darwin award.

Great idea. anything under there is better than nothing. times 2 on disclaimer.

"how did you know I wanted empty pizza boxes??"

I dont think i would have been as quick in same opportunity

I talk lots of Harbor Freight trash.. especially in the video I am proud of

but I filled out an application, yet just didnt turn it in

Made a short video of a short day trip we did. I'm not super happy with it honestly, but don't hate it. Too much time lapse?

My wife had the idea to kinda stall for a bit during koh week since that's probably taking everyones attention.

We have some decent stuff from our 3 day trip that we're just starting to get into. Editing takes a lot of time!

Sweet. I subbed, I'll have to check it out tomorrow when I should be working :lmao:

Dont overthink the editing stuff too much. I do it on a free app on my phone, and quite literally just trim clips and adjust audio levels. Today was the first time I actually figured out how to put a playlist link at the end of a video. And I was monetized in 3 months.
Honestly I'm not even sure what people want to see. Just film what you want, because thats what your going to be the most comfortable doing, and have fun.

Hows your snow now lol?

I subscribed. I know the pain of editing. I still take almost a full day to get one video done. What helped me a lot with editing was changing camera angles and filming shorter scenes. I archived all my motovlogs but, that was kind of where I started figuring it out before I gave up for a little while.

Content isnt seriously important because people will watch out of curiosity unless they are searching for something specific. Specific videos get more traffic. More traffic means more browse time. More content in general keeps them interested. The hardest part is getting your videos filmed and out there and, you're doing it.

Haven't done much for a while. Got pretty overwhelmed with editing and haven't posted anything. Wife got some motivation and edited some footage from. Last mothers day. Also posted some shorts and reels.

Edit: stand by for editing
We shot a ton of drone footage at the famous spider farm last year. I’m not sure if we’ve even edited any of it. It’s just kind of on the chip. I think my iPad was out of memory so we said meh. oh we flew the drone through the spider barn, filming all the projects

Can relate, it's really hard to get motivated to do produce videos sometimes...I'll get on a roll and do a bunch...and then I'll be weeks between anything decent. One thing I've tried to do is shoot multiple videos in a single day while I'm all setup, both shorts and long form, that way I can have some content in the bank when I am not as motivated.

We kinda went wild shooting videos early last year, then got overwhelmed and completely stopped.

We even did an awesome 2 week wheelin trip, with a thrash fest efi swap before and didn't film anything. :homer:

Oh shit, your that guy? lol I just commented on your rubicon soup bowl short .

That’d be me. I didn’t remember subscribing but then I saw your Toyota and remembered seeing it here lol
