GA school shooting.

The simple fact that resource officers stopped him as soon as they made contact should be the second biggest story coming out of this. This is a solution that even a retard can understand. And yet there's crickets. The MSM ignores it. And even the retards don't know about it.
It's no accident that part of the story is sitting on the MSM's cutting room floor. They were told to hide it, or they hid it themselves.
Retard checking in: I don't get it. Are you saying these resource officers did something different than any one else trying to stop a shooting in progress, or that the kid is somehow different than other shooters, or.. something else I'm not picking up?

Edit: Don't get me wrong, I also found it noteworthy that this kid surrendered without going out in a blaze of glory. I thought maybe this kid had different motives than the others.

If the kid had been suicidal he would not have just stopped and laid his weapon down.

I am assuming “resource officer” is a LEO and probably armed. Also assuming officer went towards the suspect armed and shooter gave up so he didn’t get smoked. If it was for “trans awareness” as it may be then we wont hear a damn thing from the shooter but exactly what they want is to hear.

After the MI parents were charged, everyone should have known this was going to be the outcome in the future.

Liable for kids actions, but dont get to make decisions for them
The FBI and the county cops come to your house to discuss the threats you 13 ur old made online threatening to shoot your his school .
The county says you kid can’t come back to school

So you move to a different county that doesn’t know about the threats so your clearly mentally disturbed kid can go back to school

And then a couple months later you buy the kid a AR ?

I’m sorry but you’re a contributing factor

It’s not much different than a bartender and a restaurant getting charged for serving drinks to a customer that’s obviously already drunk .

YES.. BUT... dad never believed them. He was in denial.

So you are imprisoning parents for thinking their kid couldn't / wouldn't...
Was he stupid, YEP, but in a parental way.

Half to 3/4ths of the dads on this board wouldn't believe the system coming to them about their kid.

ALSO, quit trying to relate the unrelatable.

Functionally, we have very few things that are protected by the constitution. Very few things that they say .. this is a right, given by GOD, or birthright, and we prevent the government from getting involved.

Booze... NOT ON THE LIST
Cars/ Transportation ... NOT ON THE LIST
GUNS... NUMBER 2 on the list.
so "not much different" is actually a huge difference.

His father did the equivalent of driving the getaway car at a bank robbery

If the fbi showed up at your house and said your kid was making threats online to shoot you his school , you’re an idiot for buying your kid a gun a few weeks later and letting him have access to it anytime he wanted .

If the kid had STOLEN the gun or accuired it in his own without his parents knowledge the dad Probably wouldn’t be charged

No different than if your kid found some booze got drunk and crashed a car he stole without your knowledge or permission and killed somebody

Verses , you providing the booze and handing the kid the keys .

The mom has been arrested 19 times in the last few years .

She’s trash too

A pro police narrative is a lateral move from a pro gun control narrative. They’re both shit.
It's a pro-guns in the schools in the hands of courageous adults narrative. The faster there's someone shooting back, the quicker these attacks are ended.

Let the teachers and staff that want to be armed be trained & allowed to concealed carry. When anyone from the janitor to the geography teacher could shoot back these puss-ass school shooters won't even try.

Think so? If they're suicidal, I don't think it'll make a difference. They'll just manage to shoot less people before getting popped. The kids that aren't suicidal on the other hand might be deterred, but this is the first kid that I can remember that gave himself up rather than went down shooting.

Teachers are the last people I want handling anything that requires training, skill and common sense. They are teachers for a reason.

I 100% own my opinion of teachers being worthless and overpaid:flipoff2:

2 of my nieces are teachers. You aren't wrong.

I'd say they did something very different than the officers involved in the Uvalde school shooting. I hope I'm thinking of the correct incident. I'm referring to when the cops hid outside while the kid killed more people.

The only logical conclusion I can draw, is that the MSM and the Left don't actually want to keep kids from getting shot, they want it to happen to push their agenda.

Anyone want to prove me wrong?
The lefts solution is to ban guns.

The rights solution is nothing as far as I can tell, cause constitution.

Fortunately, it seems this kid wasn't suicidal. He wouldn't have given up if he was and probably would have kept shooting till he got smoked.

And like you said, kids are being twisted in all sorts of directions with the shit the Left pushes. Add a bit of contact from a 3 letter fella and POP.
While a success that story would do little to comfort me if one of mine was in the slain.

I'd like to see at minimum a barrier possible of keeping ANYONE that is not supposed to enter the school do so.
I have 17 year old daughter that would likely rank very highly on a human trafficking list.

While I don't rely on the school to protect her in all phases I'd prefer to not have random UNAUTHORIZED folks cruising the school.

I don't think its too much to ask to prevent at minimum a visually armed person from entering the school.
I do realize that might shift the opportune time to attack to a time with less security but I'm willing to problem solve that scenario when we get to it.

You guys don't have a closed campus where you're at? Pretty much any school in my area requires you to check in at the office and get some sort of identification badge before you can be on campus and people will stop you if you don't.

We absolutely do and I'd assume they do at all the recent sites of these shootings, so obviously there is a flaw of sorts.
Our staff has the ability to be armed, as they did in Uvalde but Uvalde chose not to allow that in their school system.

In most places around here it's like a jail. They've got a visitor area you're buzzed into and then everything behind that where the kids are is also locked Once you're buzzed past the office/guest area you can basically do whatever.

I’ve said it before, there are inherent risk in life. THERE IS NO FIXING THIS.
Any effort to fix it, is one step closer tyrannical government. Which is more dangerous to school shootings.
…………

Regarding School shootings, ALL school shootings.

When you remove the emotions you realize there is no real solution where the American people maintain their freedom.

You solved Drunk Driving yet? How many kids does that kill?

You want FANTASYLAND!!!!
You ban social media from anyone under 30, and 24hour news channels. That would do more than anything else. Remove the fame and notoriety.
You remove the notoriety, you treat what the psycho is getting off on.

That AND LASERS!!!!!

Yeah….. definitely something with Lasers.

Post Script:
Communism kills more people than school shootings.

Lastly, I don’t want my kid raised in fear.
You think our kids are messed up now…. Fortify the school like it’s a prison. Never let them forget “there could be a school shooter around every corner “ make it all a constant reminder.

And they don’t have to be.

I mean 17 year old female should pretty much cover it no?
We're gonna need a BMI. And even then she still might be a butterface. Like I said, don't flatter yourself. :flipoff2:

Edit: Now that I think about it a 17yo is probably fuckin worthless when there's plenty of young looking 18yos around that can be pimped out the normal way with far less risk to all parties.

They do school shooter drills...
They already know.

Ban zero tolerance
Let kids fight it out
Encourage health fighting? Not sure how you do that
Start classes on responsible firearms use and ownership
Classes on how to treat each other and how to resolve differences
Classes on you don't to get to shove your weird ideas down other throats. trans or gay, some people might not like your, part of choice a nd consequence
But just cause you don't like someone doesn't mean you get to be a dick to them, you might get punched in the face
Adults should be able to permit carry at schools, just like when I grew up.

no I don't think schools should be jails or buzz in or out. Quit making the school a target and they won't be one.

doesn't cost anything to have signs that say permitted carry allowed. Or just remove all weapon free signs and recycle them, making money.
If kids don't take guns from cops in schools seems like as not as big of a threat as advertised.
I'm fine with a shot gun over the door, but I am not running for school board, likely part of the problem.
