so in complete conjecture and anecdotal experience...
I unfortunately have some experiences with some of these type of classes.
They are where you put the kids who are a distraction in class for a multitude of reasons, but who have a packet or an accomodation so they get state or federal protection. (your kid has.. whatever... ADHD, biPolar, Autism / Some-tism, etc. and they either can't function or are a distraction, they put them in this class). Some kids in it are great, some are button pushers, some are assholes and can't help it, some are just assholes.
I could see a class where a kid who wouldn't quit running his mouth and instigating, pushing some 14 year old kid who's on the school shooting bandwagon already, over the edge.
