Been looking for some good pics of guys 3 linking or 4 linking the front of their sami. Anyone have any good pics of both?

What type of build are you after?

Id imagine a lot of the linked Sami's are going to be way stretched out with frame and body chops. Linking something more mild will be a totally different ball game.

Mine is a three link front. Since I kept it low there is only like 3.5in of uptravel with a big notch in the oil pan. Its somewhere around 3inches further forward than stock

Here is my 3 link I made with leftovers. Rear jk lower links and 1 jk rear upper for the 3 link, shortened a jk rear panhard for the panhard. Premium square tube shock towers. Used Maverick x3 front 2.5 coilovers. Worked quite well, I since sold the coilovers so I gotta retrofit a different smaller diameter set.

im stretching the front around 13” and rear around 12“. The rear is easy to 4 link it. I really want to 4 link the front but don’t think I’ll have room. 3 link just seems easier to get done.

At that point why not just build a buggy? With 2' of WB stretch the tires are going to be so far forward and rearward that it's probably going to look kinda stupid....

This is 10" total stretch. 5" front and 5" rear and running 35's...

OP, Photobucket has all the pictures from this build locked up because I refuse to pay them so no pictures of how I linked it. Sorry

Because I’ve had a buggy on front and rear steer tons and 43’s. Wanting to keep the body on this one. Going to build an exo and cut the body so I can run the soft top still.

Double triangulated 4 link, 12" stroke coilovers, full width 14b/10b axles, full hydro steering, stretched 14 inches. Built for 4" uptravel, but currently set at 6" uptravel because I'm a dipshit that grossly overestimated corner weights and went too high on spring rate.

Ignore dangly bits, still building it, lol.

There's a guy here locally that loosely copied a Jimny radius arm setup on his, and kept it super low on 31" tires. Basically the same ride height that he had with YJ springs in a SUA configuration. Been having the usual binding issues inherent in radius arms, but seems to working decently enough for a mild build.

In my case, it's because I'm a cold weather pansy. Temp drops below 60F, and I turn into a whiny little girl real fast. I wanted to keep the heater, and ability to run full doors & at least a bikini + windjammer.

At the end of the day, I build my rigs to enjoy driving them, not to win trophies at the car show for best looking. I know my junk already looks stupid, and I'm not done screwing it up yet 😆
