Have a Frigidaire side by side fridge. Sunday night my wife said it seems like it isn't as cold as it should be. Monday I came home for lunch and grab a drink and it was warm. Check the fridge temp and it was 63 degrees. Freezer was still at 0 degrees. Took the covers off and it was dusty in there but not terrible. Cleaned everything out and let it run over night. Next morning it was back to temp, but the evap fan runs all the time. Is the fan supposed to run?

Last night I bumped the set temp up to 40 and this morning it was right at 40. I turned it down to 36 and jumped in the shower. When I got out of the shower it was back down to 37 so it seems to be working other than the fan running all the time.

I also noticed this morning that the door seal on the top of the freezer door has a big gap in the middle and is pouring cold air out. I'll order a new seal, but it seems like that shouldn't cause the issues?

Just went through something similar.

Make sure the vents between the sides are clear. They are at the top and bottom of the center divider. We had some bags of stuff that had migrated to obstruct them.

Check to see if the back of the freezer area is frosted up. That can mean the defrost cycle is borked in some way. Either the defrost board or something else.

Mine seemed to be the vents but I am still keeping an eye on it.

I've used the troubleshooter on repairclinic.com to help figure out problems in the past. You put in your model # and it gives a list of common problems and solutions.
