Got to see my first one in the wild the other day heading north on I-65 in Lafayette , IN. , a blue one , look pretty good.
 
We're going to wait to see them in person but will hopefully end up trading the woman's edge in on one next year. A plan though :flipoff2:
 
As much as I'd like a WartHog 'm a cheap bastard who doesn't want the payment.
 
Saw a bronco sport today on the way to work.

Looks just like a fucking escape :shaking: Hope the other models look better.
 
Just went to an "exclusive" bronco showing. Got to set in it and play around with everything. I really liked how the manual felt. Just the right amount of sloppy truck feel while also feeling gated. Lockout colar on the shifter for reverse and low otherwise the same shift pattern as a zf6.

The tube sliders were a complete disappointment... .095 wall and bolded through the pinch seam under the door.

The waterproof vynal seats felt like thin wetsuit material and not very durrable but they were comfortable.... the leather seats were really nice.

Playing with a tape measure 37s may... maybe fit stock... the wheel well is 37" in diameter

The interiors overall feel very nice and uncluttered even with the "lux" package.

The 4wd selector know location sucks in the auto... its towards the rear from the trans shifter and to the drivers side of the cup holder... they tried to make it a focal/main point of the interior as apposed to neatly tucked away. On the manual it is between the shifter and the dash


Aftermarket rims are going to make it WIDE. Stock the wheels appear to be 8ish with the mounting surface being 2" from the front of the wheel and the tires already stick out from the body.

Floor mats fit really really nice

Vynal floor had like 1/2" of cush to it like theres carpet padding underneath

Wash out drain plugs dont dump straigt to nothing but into a sheet metal void that will get clogged with mud

The little 2.3l. Looks little in there and easy to work on

Soft top seems to fit really nice and tight. I doubt you will get much noise associated with it on the highway.

Window controlls are all in the center consul so there is no electronics to mess with when removing doors

6' + tall person can fit comfortably in the back seat

Anyone who ordered one with the painted top and not molded in color will be waiting till 2022 for thier bronco

The ads for a Bronco with a Goat mode are dum. Confused and redundant imagery. Some 22yo ad dweeb needs smacked.

Are they also gonna call the performance mode Cheetah? With maybe a Donkey optional roofrack? And the Gecko tire package?

Gah. Stupid branding.

I've priced/build the Bronco 'Extreme'.

By the time I was completed with the Bronco build, it was as expensive as a 2021 F-600XL/6.7-PS/4X4: $62,000! :shocked:
 
The owner of the convenience store in the town next to us is also the owner of the Ford dealership the next town over and he has been DD’g a new Bronco for the last month. I know him pretty well, I’ll ask him what he thinks of it.
