My friend and I went to Santa Fe on Monday to look at a one owner 2005 Toyota Seina. Let me state I don't like driving in cities but I really hate driving in Santa Fe once you get off the main roads where people drive like it's the last lap at Talldega, you end up on tiny hamster trail streets that wind and curl all over. took a test drive I way never more than three miles from the dealership but it took with GPS 45 minutes to get back! Then there was the hunt for an ATM that worked and hadn't had the panel all scrapped up by the homless denizens wondering around. Dodge pickup decided to act up, at one point Craig had to push it out of traffic, I was waiting up the road wondering what happened. Finally we got out of town and headed home planned at stopping at a steak house that has good reviews in Moriarty, only to find they were closed on a Monday! We both had fish and fries at the truck stop Craig pigged out on the tarter sauce and next day his signifcant other called and asked how I was feeling because he was not having a good day, I was fine because I didn't touch the extra garlicy tarter sauce

In, got off work at noon, hauled trash, ate lunch, spent about 3 hours cutting trails and barnyards on the family farm with the bush hog. Sippin on a coleburr now, packing tools and recovery gear in the sxs for 3 days of riding in West Va next week. Gonna cut a loop on the farm in the 4runner with the wifey and doggos in a bit.

40 minutes to go at work. I think my truck got watered down fuel. Hope I make it home;(
Made it. Trucks been stumbling a little for the last couple days. Got to work and it died and wouldnt re start even when I had to crank it for a long time in 3rd to get it parked out of the way.

Went over later and it still wouldn't start even though I could see the fuel filling the clear fuel filter.

Sprayed starting fluid, vroom ran for a little bit. Pulled off the near new adjustable regulator, it seemed fine but I replaced it with another filter. Hit with some ether, it started and stayed running but would die if left idling.

Work had some heet so I poured a bottle of yellow in the tank, drove it around some to mix it up, it died once then stayed running.

Didnt die on the way home so now its Crown Royal with Royal Crown cola time. 2 great tastes that go great together.:grinpimp:

Thought I might need new points or coil but eliminated that possible cause quick.

in, still not much good unfortunately, had a decent repair job lined up but I got to it a few days ago and it turned into a small repair job because a shop was just trying to fuck him outta money.

developed this weird bump on the back of my right foot when I was still driving and I figured it would go away once I was done working 100 hours a weeks but its been almost 8 weeks and the pain/muscle straining sensation is still there depending how I move my ankle, so I guess I needed something else to worry about.

I was going to go get a couple propane bottles filled after work, but work kinda kicked my butt this week. I decided to bake some potatoes and boil some eggs for a batch of mom’s potato salad. I’ll let everything cool overnight and assemble it tomorrow.

When I got home the cows were out on the property to our east. It’s too bad they’re tasty because they’re kinda cute 😋
Ms dad is coming back later for dinner. We’re having ribeyes, baked potatoes (he gets a yam), and probably green beans.
No plans for the evening. We’ll go out later to see if we can see the aurora, maybe watch a movie.

Work. Offloaded and putting away 25 tons of product, shoveled and salted the walkways.

Found out they put a camera in my truck and it tracks everything from picking my nose to hitting bumps too hard.

Gf’s daughter came up preggo finally so we’re taking them out to dinner.
Gotta go to take gf’s brother out to lunch tomorrow for his birthday so another day down. 250 mile round trip eats a lot of time.
I really want to start tossing the new to me axles under the ranger so I’m not too excited about the plans.

Couple years ago my neighbors had a cow that kept getting out. It ended up on the property across the street from me every time. I'd go get a rope and lead it back home.

One day I get a call from my wife while I was at work. The owner of the cow was fed up with it and ready to be done with its bullshit. They had a mobile butcher in my driveway, and were asking for the number of the property owner so they could call him for permission access the property, and if it was okay to use one of my rifles to solve the problem.

In. Fell getting out of wheeling truck at shop. Landed of a roll around work stool, missed the welding table. Ribs aint broke but sure have let me know they are not happy. Going back to work at 0100 , ought to be interesting. Some kind of a road cut. Go check the group buy thing out.

Work put cameras in all trucks. Had to adjust the settings on the concrete mixers. They ride so rough that it was wearing the hall monitor out checking notifications. They would even send that the truck was rolled over from the angles we take them to.

Didn't you fall at work a few years ago? You should stop that :flipoff2:

Worked 4:30am to 2:30pm getting a bid out and then picked up a few things in town and came home. Made sure everything was loaded in the suburban for the football game tomorrow. Youngest daughter and I got our snowmobile stuff out to make sure everything fits. She’s good but I’ve lost 50 pounds so none of my shit fits but the boots and helmet.
Finished a six pack and then ate some brats. Chilling on the couch and going to bed soon so I can get up at 5am for the game.
