In, been a long week. Went to Yakutat Tuesday and flew a Cessna 206 to Pullman, WA on Thursday. Logged 14 206 hours this week. Flew 2 hours today to finish a little job. Messing with a 12vdc box for my starlink, and I think its broken. Planning to fix the panhard bar on the XJ tomorrow. Ordered some new avionics for my 182 today, but won't get them in for my big trip to Mt Rushmore. Never fails that I get cool new stuff but don't have them in until the NEXT big trip...

I replaced the battery in the Dodge hoping that would fix my none start problem. Motor will just die, sytarter will spin but won't start, take the positive cable off and short it to the negitive and it will fire right up :frown::confused:

Prob not even really the same, but we run into switches that pass voltage but not enough current to do the job. Found one just today. Got 12v at the end, but the light won't light up. 50 year old switch in my case is why...

I had a crap day at work so I am a happy guy to be home. I finally got my Amazon order and some other stuff so that's off my plate. It's gettin' cold here, low 40's right now so I fired up the furnace, lot's of rain too so that kills the fall yard work we planned for tomorrow.

Gonna mow down some leftovers for dinner and early rack it so I can have my coffee in peace tomorrow morning before I get going on the indoors chores list.

The Mrs and I went out for an early dinner and a 5:00 movie. Just got home about 20 minutes ago. She has a 4am wake up for work and I have a long to do list in the morning.
Beetlejuice was decent, not great but good.

Wife’s relatives are in town so we’re going over to her parents in a while. Might drink a beer or to so I can physically and mentally prepare for that.

bought some brass and 120' of 2" sch40 from the scrap yard, hundred bucks
only sorted out 15lbs of good stuff out of the 9/40/223 before I was creakybacked and crosseyed
bunch of 3030, 44 and 300sav to trade off, some wssm to hoard for future project dreams, some 06 some 308 some 45 a couple really odd ones and a couple 6.5 creed because I hadn't seen any yet (one of which is small primer, odd!)
 
In. Work week was dogshit, I was on the verge of quitting most of the day. Not sure if it's just bad times or the true colors of the new job are starting to show but fuck me it's been a struggle the last couple weeks.

Thinking about going and lighting a fire outside for some badly needed shut the fuck up time.
 
I fucked up and woke up late for work. I knew this was gona happen eventualy, what dumb fuck thinks starting 2hrs earlier one day a week was a good idea?

Got my work donen grabbed a pizza and got the fuck home.

Pig dog will open the screen door (sliding) to let himself in but almost never to get out. Ive been leaving him on the porch to see how he does and hes been good for the most part. He did fuck off 1 day but has been in the driveway or house otherwise

Sitting in the truck wishing I had a beer right about now.

4 hour fuck around this morning to get a tire replaced screwed up my schedule, won't make it home until Sunday now.

Least the haul road should be quiet tomorrow.

Already have another load in the pipeline once this is completed Monday morning...

I was in Cptn Call hood earlier today, passed through Wagoner on my way to get loaded in Muskogee.

Next time D, I was on a tight schedule, no point in txtng ya.

Finishing up my 4th week on the road, look forward to home time soon.
I have worked every day of this stretch, record month miles/$ wise so no complaints here.

Once my ass gets on that living room sofa I ain't moving for the better part of the day:laughing:

Ive got american history x and the last indian jones movie recorded. Dog shit movie but its got the best nazi's of the series.

We have maybe 2-3 weeks before things freeze up. Most years have snow that stays right around Halloween, sometimes it's more toward mid November.
Did like 30hrs straight 3 Thanksgiving ago plowing lots for all the fat fucks waddling in at 0500 for their 10% off beef dicks or whatever Black's Friday sale.

Had planned on knocking out dirtwork this summer which turned into fall but rained or was a mud hole almost the whole time or was busy with other projects. Or working... mostly that.

Going to a month in, 2 weeks off in Nov until May, plus doing snow removal when home so yeah.. good luck with getting anything else done.
