I need to haul/store 4 atvs. Thinking this trailer is a pretty good deal and better suited for other things rather than just snowmobiles or atvs, like helping people move.

Never heard of them but apparently they were or are a thing. This thing looks like it was built solid like a big truck body or a van body but looks can be deceiving.

At $4k I can probably sell my 8x16 US cargo for that.

This trailer is 8x18 but not sure how much of that is the V, probably a couple ft. Can't find much info on the web or other trailers like it.

It's one of those goofy snow mobile trailers with odd shitty wheels in case that wasn't obvious. Usually on the v nose they don't include the v portion when talking length.

What are the specs on your 16' trailer? My cousin is looking for one with a 7' tall rear opening

Don't all little trailers have goofy wheels?

Looking for trailer pics and info.

This is what I am replacing for atv hauler. The tires are 100 psi. LOL But works great, back it in the barn, swing the tongue out of the way. But now I have too much stuff.

Those little goofy wheel trailers are incredibly rare out here

The trailer is unknown age actually. But guy I bought it from said it was a 2010 US Cargo, I think it is close to 2001 maybe older.

It could use the front floor replaced, but the rear and ramp door have been rebuilt, they are solid. New brakes all around.

I need to measure. When I first looked at it I passed it up because it looks like a 7 or 7.5 trailer but when he told me the door opening dimensions it has to be 8ft.

Honestly only bought it to store my corvette in. But it has been handy for moving kids and other projects. Solid trailer, heavy. You know it's back there.

not the prettiest but looking at what is on marketplace it is kinda decent.

You cant fit 4 machines in your 16'? Tight be should be doable.
Couple issues, first off the machines are light and bounce all over the place inside. Not enough weight inside that trailer. I don't want to put e-track down which is what it needs. But all your equipment, bags, gas cans, bounce all over the place.

Second it sucks with the fender wells sticking out. I can only get 3 in there.

The last atv I picked up is a 700 grizzly with aftermarket wheels. It is 4" wider than everything else. I need 96" inside dimensions to put that next to anything else. The wheel wells alone prevent that.
It is quite possible the next couple I get will have the same setup. Just want to be prepared.

This flo trailer is 5'10" inside height. Honestly it think it will be nicer for the things I use it for. But I don't know.

and maybe I will keep both trailers. No idea yet.

That is why I am here trying to learn.

Makes sense, we run into the same issues trying to transport machines. Mostly raptors in our group but my Grizzly is just a hair over 50" wide with my wheel setup, which seems to cause issues.

That is crazy, my little boat trailer has them, my other little flatbed has them. I threw 2 away at work just like a month ago because I was tired of looking at them.

I was going to add 8" to the flatbed I posted a pic of earlier. It is 8ft. and that stupid grizzly hangs off the back. I was going to dump the wheels but the kids seem to love it.

I am not a grizzly fan. Power steering, yet to be determined. but wet clutches, differential brace, thing idles rough. Also disappointed in the get up and go. But fuel injection is nice.
Didn't buy it for me to ride anyway.

What year machine?

2010 I think? Or 2009? Somewhere in there. I posted on here when I got it, had a bad crankshaft.

But it is that gen of grizzly
Little bit of clutch work wakes them up. I ended up with a shim and secondary spring in mine. But I have the Generation after that.

I will let my kids work on that.

but I am comparing to a V-twin 700 kawasaki with carbs. To me there is no comparison, but the grizzly does ride nicer.

This just popped up. Raised some questions.

He says this one is only 60" outside the trailer, he is taking inside measurements for me. So that is maybe 56-58 best case scenario inside but probably less.

Where as the flow was 70" inside height. But he hasn't gotten back to me to verify the width.

The yamaha grizzy says it is 48" high at stock height, so I might be 50" Seat height is around 36 inches.

How tall does the trailer need to be in order to ride onto it, rather than pushing them in and crawling around?

This trailer would be minimum. I could not possibly get by with anything less.

The flip front panel would be handy, those other ones look like royal PIA putting ATV in with no access at the front. But the Corvette and other rig look like the same PIA.

Without T-tops corvette no worky. LOL

The floe has the front door, plues the 18ft and a V. Should be plenty of room

I only need 13-14ft for 4 atvs.

I hit up the guy with the Floe again.

The expedition is 98" wide inside. Just too short.

Floe is a quality trailer manufacturer. Better than most. And been around for a while.

I have one of their simple tilt decks

As usual, dude sold the floe. It wasn't meant to be.

Found one that measures perfect. 14ft without including V. 98" wide inside. Also front door, all aluminum. Now if I can get there before it is sold.

What I learned, I butted up my atvs end to end. 13ft is minimum length. Trying to stuff them in a 12ft would have them rubbing on the V wall. Plus no room to tie down.

To ride in a normal person needs 65" height. More is better, less is for little kids or pushing the atv in.

and it's home.

This is a 2007 Thule snow pro 2000. Apparently they didn't make them very long. Tree branch fell on it. They totaled the trailer for it.

Very impressed with the way it is built. Much more solid than typical car trailers. Very light. I can roll it around my driveway by hand. The doors all work like they are new.

The walls and ceiling are insulated.

Can't wait to load it.

Gonna cut the header and section it. When I cut it I think the skin and roof will stretch and straighten right back out.

The header is 1.5" square aluminum box tubing. Pretty easy to splice. then a roof patch. Pretty simple fix. The hardest part is the trim on the outside. I can't seem to find that exact piece, but maybe after I cut it off there I can straighten it well enough. Who knows. Doesn't have to be perfect, just not leak and not come apart.

Kinda wish it was a couple feet longer but if nothing else this is a great start to see what I like and don't like about it.

8.5 x 14 3ft V. Interior height is 75"

They have been building aluminum docks in MN for 40+ years, their trailers are built at least as well as their docks and I'd put those near the top of the list for dock manufacturers.

Tons of Floe snowmobile trailers around my area.

Thought I would update for fun. You can see the actual welding done in the mig/tig aluminum welding thread.

I still need to put an actual aluminum patch and rivet it down over the holes in the roof, but the roof is flat now so water doesn't pool and the shape won't change again now.

The walk in door works like new, no more sticking and dragging.

Still love this trailer. The width takes some getting used to when backing it into places. But it rides like a dream. We can leave our helmets sit on the ATV racks when we park and get off and they will still be sitting in the same place when we get home.
