Flat iron steak?

Dang I don't think I've had one if these before, only cut of meat that was a decent deal at the expensive grocery store. Smoked for about 50m @265* then cranked up to 500* for last 10m. Didn't last long! :laughing:

I was really surprised by how tender this was and the flavor was great.
 
I don't actually know what cut a "flat iron" is but I always liked them at restaurants when I have got them.
 
Aldi`s always has them for a relatively decent price ($8 a pound usually) individually vacuum sealed, always tender.
 
That'll be great, once it's cooked. :homer:
 
No I want a steak.. that looks GOOD! I just texted the wife and asked if she wanted to go to lunch. :)
