They stopped giving frost warnings almost a month ago.

Was snowing when I got up this morning. Has since turned back to rain.

34* this morning where I'm at. Areas further from Nashville dipped into mid/high 20's.

No measurable rain since Helene, none forecast for the next 10. Looks like we'll be skipping fall color this year.

It was pretty chilly in the house last week. I turned on the pellet stove in the morning when I got up with the kids. The house just wouldn't get warm so I turned up the stove. Same shit. I figured it was just me.

When the wife came into the living room she asked why I was trying to heat the house with the AC on. :homer:

Had our first frost yesterday morning and the high elevations got their first skip of snow. (East Tn.)

Windy and chilly out here.
Fired up the heat as it showed 62* inside of the house, sort of to make sure it will do its job, fresh air filter too.
Set to 64* which is where it will stay, I head out on the road Monday.

Tomorrow I will cover up the AC unit, and winterize lawn mower/weed wacker, trickle charge batteries, etc.
Ordered a new travel trailer cover, 1st one lasted 3 years out in the elements. Decided on the same replacement from Etrailer, that should be here today.

Need to check around work truck, likely tomorrow as well.

Picked up this heated throw, I will use it under my sleeping bag on semi coldish nights, should keep me nice and warm when truck is not running.
I have an inverter and webasto chinese heater (truck typically runs all night if temperature drops below 28*). I do use diesel fuel treatment once it gets cold enough.

We had a frost advisory but I didn't have any. It's been in the 70s during the day and mid 30s at night so it's not heat and hoodie season quite yet

Fuck that! I mean how....how do people...fuck that.
Still have probably another 2-3 weeks before it's snowy at home.
Currently 35* Been in the 30s-low 40s.

Here it's been in the teens-20s. Currently 21*

Yeah, woke up to frost this morning and the puddles from last night's rain are frozen. :bounce::bounce2::bounce::bounce2: Fall is here. :cool:cool
What is this ‘rain’ you speak of? No appreciable rain in a couple Months here in NW Arkansas 😟

Thick freeze yesterday & today, using a small electric heater to defrost interior of truck.

We call it Jack Frost when the leaves get "singed" off the trees-

I said over a month ago it was going to be an early cold Long Winter, but nobody heard me because I was walking by myself and talking to myself .

Drove thru snowflakes going over the Cascades Thu, definitely caught me off guard .

And of course some jackwagon wrecked when I was on my way back over, and I got to sit there for an hour and wait for that be cleaned up

I wish it'd snow 4' .
