Nice knowing you peeps. But what if we started a movement for all to start paperwork this Friday to buy a firearm? Just think of the shitstorm this would cause! Just a thought...

I get what you’re saying. I approve of the message wholeheartedly. I’d just rather stock up on ammo on Friday if there was any to buy

I've been following the youtube channels of a few guys who own gun stores. I forget the names of the channels offhand, but several of them have mentioned that when they can get ammo, they won't sell it unless it is to someone who is buying a firearm from them also. They are still getting guns and selling them, but most have little to no inventory for the most part. Apparently people are like you and less enthusiastic about a firearm purchase when they can't get ammo, so they do what they can to make sure a gun buyer gets something to put in it. One dude did mention that he would sell 1,000 rounds of 9mm with the purchase of a handgun, but that guy also loads and sells ammo online during normal times.

I don't know.... I have never had to buy a firearm... I have never needed one and probably never will. On the other hand, the GF doesn't fuck around and is well dressed for any situation; fought off home intruder bare handed.

I’d love to participate, but the firearm/parts/suppressor/magazine/ammo purchases have been absolutely brutal to my bank account for the last several months. :laughing:

I’d actually buy a gun now if I could also buy 1000 rounds of ammo with it. I don’t normally buy guns if it requires a form 4473 but right now I could make an exception.

I want an O/U 12 gauge, shit ton of 9 and 223 ammo to plink, and shit ton of AR uppers. Fuck this situation.


Is it futile to expect ammo prices to fall to “normal” prices? I’m not really wanting to pay .60 a round for plinking ammo :homer:
 
A car without gas is useless. Gas without a car is currency.

Always had that same theory on firearms. I bought ammunition and magazines for guns I didn’t own yet till I was satisfied with my hoard, then I went and got the cheap part, the firearm itself.

My grandpa has safes full of exotic guns that you can’t even get ammunition for. Makes no sense to me. What are you going to do? pull iron sticks out of the safe to beat people to death with?

You can buy a gun and 1000 rounds of ammo. The 9mm ammo will only cost $1000.
 
A sporting goods store I went to last friday afternoon told me I should have got there before they opened at 10 AM and I could have got 5.56 and 9mm, I'll be there this Friday early not even knowing prices. This shits annoying but...

Unless you live in a state like Pennsylvania. I believe there would be a lot of AR15’s on 4473’s and when they knocked on the doors they’d discover they were all sold.

We don’t need to transfer long guns here. Only hand guns.

Those are called investments. Lots of people out there hand load odd calibers every day and those exotic guns seemingly increase in value every year. Look at any Sako in 218 Bee.
 
There are plenty of guns for sale here in the local free newspaper. Meet at the gas station and buy a gun.
A local estate auction has 70 firearms for sale. Most of it is really nice with ass loads of ammo.
 
You guys in "free states" beware the " calif curse ", as it spreads...
Coming to a federal Capital soon.
