Having met a few of them I'd say they are fascinated w/ death.

The nerve block was trippy when I got my surgery.

The 'Thesio that got me was an asshole. Kept putting the mask into my eyes. Also, I remember waking up in the little makeshift room and the older nurse kept trying to help me put on and zip up my pants. Then offered to help me use the restroom.

Fuck those nerve blocks, for my first hip replacement they used one, and when the second was due 3 years later I told them no way, I'll just deal with the pain. Nothing like having your whole leg be immoveable like a cast iron stump.
