What's new

***Fail***

damn, how many years to get 85k frame hours on these machines? running 3 shifts in a mine or something where it's only shut off to refuel and do PMs?

Both these where at a cement production plant that ran 24-7 360 days a year. That was started in the early 1900s. We had a small aggregate quarry inside their pit, then we took over crushing for them. And got their equipment.

what say the yellow iron experts? Panz and Carter can that be fixed or just scrap it? I am sure it can be fixed but would the repair cost outweigh value of machine?

Perhaps naive, but seems like it really isn't too bad in the grand scheme of things. Some heavy structural work to restore the upper pivot, line bore pivot, probably some work on lower pivot, new pins and steering rams and maybe new hoses depending on how badly they stretched. Not trivial, but doesn't seem like all that difficult or costly of a repair to me.

The Panz guy would rebuild it in an afternoon

You have to read any Temu product ad forward, backward and sideward.

I studied the shit out an ad for four sets of knock off Vise grips for $3 and still only got one set. I wasn't even mad, cause I also got a dash cam for $1.58 and rounded out the $10 free shipping order with a set of three step bits. :homer:

Looks incredibly fake anyway. What purpose do the black boxes on the sides serve? Fake dot matrix printer feed holes?
