What's new

***Fail***

I don't know the name or part number for that part, but it looks important. :flipoff2:
It is the reluctor wheel for the crank position sensor on a ford 6.2. Goes between the crank and flex plate. It was stuck to the flex plate when i pulled it off the old motor. Apparently it fell off without telling me before i installed the flex plate on the new motor.

I slid the trans and transfer case back just enough to get it in their this afternoon

That sucks

Many moons ago I put a $300 twin cam engine in a $300 zx2 escort and it had a crank no start. I joined a forum and asked a question. Somebody quickly responded laughing, telling me they hope I didn't put my tools away:laughing:

The crank sensor went into the bell housing from the outside, and was triggered by notches in the flywheel. But it slid into a slug that was angled one way for a manual flywheel, and another way for a flex plate, and that slug bolted in from the back side:laughing:

Manual car, got a junkyard engine from an auto

WTF were they gonna do? Get trampled as well? Shoot it for protecting itself?

Dumbass deserves what he got.
Oh, I agree, stupid should hurt:laughing:
But friends should at least try to do something....anything

rev your bike, yell, distract, tell your friend that you will call 911 when you get to the top of the hill and get cell service, so hurry up and get out of the trail ....something:laughing:

I am pretty sure the words have never been put together before. For good reason.
You'll be ever so pleased to know that you're not right.

I haven't seen anything filmed or pictured IRL, but there's plenty of drawn and written porn of it

Putting the winch on the car hauler to pick up my latest FBMP find. Can't find the damn pin. Then I remembered one last place to check and found one. There are probably a dozen floating around here .
As a bonus, I stepped off of a 44" tire (flat) on my EB and my left knee gave out. Luckily, the ground broke my fall, but my back and neck are hurting. :homer:

The pin should stay in the hitch, not go with the stinger/ball mount. That way it doesn't get lost

Move out of the ghetto :lmao:

J/k. That's a legit concern. I have never had one stolen yet.
My neighbor had the ball stolen off her hitch while at a restaurant. Just the ball, not the insert. Pulled her horse trailer home, unhooked, went to lunch, came back home and it was missing when she tried to hook back up to the trailer that afternoon. WTF? They are like $10 for a ball.

That’s strange. She sure the ball isn’t still in the trailer hitch and she got lucky when the nut backed off?
