Anyone have a source for SRW wheels - 20x10 8x225mm , 170.1mm Bore ?

Found these:

But it seems they think I have an F450, which I don't - just the axles and chassis.
it also looks like they all share pics:

You do know that DBL Design is Daniel Little who ripped everyone off when he had USA6X6?

I do now.

He also responded to my email... "they're almost in stock" LOL.

He says:

Hello Grendel,

Yes, I owned USA6x6 back in 2007, it filed bankruptcy on an economy that was $5 per gallon for gasoline. I could not help but file Bankruptcy.

5 years later in 2012 I started DBL design. We have produced over 900 trucks world wide since then. What concerns do you have? Do you follow us on Instagram? If not please do, you can contact any number of customers you wish from there and see if they like their product and or customer service."

Initially I went with adapters and military tires/ wheels but I wasn’t a fan of them at all. They were surplus wheels and kept loosing air. I couldn’t get them to balance out either at all. They were the Goodyear 335/80R20 G275 MSA tires, I had no complaints of the tires just the wheels. I was going to go with Stazworks wheels but wasn’t about to line it up in a timely fashion so I ended up getting Michelin XZL 445/65R22.5 on 22.5x12.25 wheels. I have adapters on the front that go directly from the hub (10x170 to 10x285) to the 22.5 bolt pattern. On the rear it goes from 10x225 to 10x285. Adapters were built by Venum wheel in California! Super pleased with this setup!! I’m using centramatic balancers and it is absolutely the smoothest ride on the highway. Highly recommend those balancers!!!
-As for the suspension, I’m running PMF track bar drop bracket and pitman arm, BD adjustable track bar, 4.5” icon dual rate coils and a 2” body lift. I removed the wood under the service body and that dropped that an extra 2” so I can still reach the back of the top cabinets. I have 4 link bds kit to go on one of these days when I get some days off lololol In the rear it’s simply a 2” block. I have fiberworks fenders in the front and a misguided fab front bumper that I cut out majorly to be able to clear. As of right now, just before full lock front tires rub part of the body mount as well as the stabilizer bar. Going to do some more trimming soon. The service body I’ve trimmed a lot to be able to clear the tires and now after lots of “a little bit more” trims its clearing no matter how it flexes
-As far as the engine goes, it has 17.5+ con rods, arp rib bolts, head studs, main studs, H&S oil pressure regulator, welded crank and cam gears. I put a 67/74 .81 VS racing turbo on it. I’ve been collecting all the parts I need to build compounds and dual fuelers. Going to be running a 61.5/76 1.0 Borg and a 88/96 1.32 borg compound setup as soon as I find the time to build it
Long way from being done but it’s a fun little project

Yeah, thinking about a 8x225MM to MRAP adapter for the rear and front.

Will run Continental Mpt 81 - 335/80-20 tires on aluminum 2 piece MRAP wheels.

Doesn't Stazwork make something like that? And not that I support their gay wheels, but maybe American Force?

I keep seeing that truck when I'm doing the mindless Instacrap scroll. Pretty cool truck but I'm way to lazy to do that kind of stuff to a truck I make my living out of. Good for him though.

So looks like we are getting into the perfect economic storm again for him to go 0-2

I did find a really nice set of Forged ones... for 1500 each. :yikes:

Starting to think about running my axles 8x225mm with MRAP adapter plates and aluminum MRAP wheels.

Yeah, I spoke with Wehring... those are the 1500 a piece wheels.

Oh and this is the truck. I want dual rears.

I like the TFL tire profile much better than the utility body super single floats above

Have you found a source for these? I found them for other bolt patterns, but no love for 8x225.

So I want 10 on 225MM now.
And I don't want to run two adapters in the front. So either a 20x11 front wheel in 10X225MM or a new billet hub adapter.

These would work for my rears:

What are you saying you can't find? 10x225 to 10x285 adapters are everywhere.

Rickson Wheels is dead. The owner may be alive but the company is no more.

+1 (262) 524-8800

I spoke with these folks in Wisconsin and he actually called back. They might have something, was referred by stazworks. I can't recall the name.

I am talking with a few shops about making new F450/F550 adapters for the front. Including Venum wheel listed above.

I am not a fan of two adapters in front of any truck.

Basically, make this in one piece:

You have a welder right? :flipoff2:

Seriously though, should be very simple for any competent machinist.

You thinking just 1 billet piece or weld some heavy plate to a tube and then have it machined?

I tracked down that guy, I guess I'll have to cut the brake abutment to clear... and it brings in the wheels a bit.

Won't care on the G506 project.

Yes, I have many welders. :grinpimp:
I'd like one piece, non welded and I'd like to not re-invent the wheel. Pun intended.:flipoff2:

I guess I didn't think about less offset.

If you can make a flat ~1" thick adapter work, that would be the ticket.
I think he did it to match the rear track, while being super singled.

I am not sure I need to do that, as I plan on DRW.

Dan also coughed up the link:

Thanks A_G
The ones I'd use to convert my 2004 F550 front, too:

CarolinaCrawler These will work for you. They have other adapters for the rear.

Now I wish I hadn't bought those factory hub adapters for 400.00.

I have a DBL conversion on my F550, got it done around 7-8 months ago. I didn’t even put the name together, but it rings a bell now that I see the old company and his name side by side.

For what it’s worth, they delivered on what they said minus a few weeks of back orders… which wasnt too unexpected. My only real complaint is the basic black paint on the wheels sucks and mine are already showing some surfce rust. Going to need to clean them up and repaint them eventually. Beyond that, the inline speed calibrator it came with hasn’t worked for me and it’s not right yet, but could be the operator or computer too.

I did read on their Instagram they are like 150 trucks backordered / behind… so wheels may be a ways out from them.

Yeah, I can't do DBL.

I am converting to big rig bolt patterns.

I have these coming:

For the front:

For the rear:

So one adapter on each hub.

Is that really $375 for each corner?

It's cool that someone was smart enough to make an adapter that replaces the stock front. 22.5s would be nice on a lot of work truck F450/550s.

Each axle. I think?

Based on their plural usage of adapters.
