What's new

F-150 9" disk (disc) brake conversion?

just did this to my ranger and it works well.
88-91 ford bronco 4x4 front brake rotors
76-77 Cadillac Eldorado rear caliper for parking brake
73-87 Chevy k2500 front caliper (no parking brake obviously, could use a jamar line lock)
I used brake caliper brackets from Ruff Stuff Specialties.

Ruffstuff sells a bracket for that? Or you just bought his generic ones and welded them on?

Did you go with the K-truck calipers or the Caddy ones?

The Bronco rotor fit over the flange on the 9"? (I was going to measure mine but I mangled shit on my XJ and kicked all the stray junk out of my shop so I could repair it)

universal weld on brackets. i used k series calipers because i run a manual ball valve on the dash for parking brake to meet ultra4 rules.
I replaced axle shafts and ordered custom shafts at the same time. but on my stock shafts i ran a drill on the pinion with a flap wheel on the axle shaft flange until the rotors slid over. worked perfect
