Looks like the EU is finally launching their biometric entry / exit system. I have no plans of giving the EU my data. I wish we have a government that would tell the EU to get bent and not allow them to take its citizens biometric data but here we are. I'll be canceling my trip to Munich next spring.

It's pretty convenient last time I was in Mexico. Just walk through and scan passport and keep walking. No dealing with people.

I'd believe they do delete it after it's matched to your name and logged as a text file.
Only because they don't want to deal with the server space to store the pictures.
