Wow! I don’t know what to say other than what you are about to hear could be damaging to your minds. LOL! Jason and Chris dialed a friend to get the story about the famous Go Devil Run that is held annually down in Arizona. That friend is none other than Mike Austin from the now defunct fastest growing off-road podcast, Mike and Max’s Offroad Podcast! We welcome Mike back to the mic after a 10 month hiatus. News flash…he hasn’t lost any of his spunk or candor……!!! Maybe he needs to. But seriously, it was a lot of fun re-connecting with Mike and getting caught up on his latest activities and stories.
So, for this episode especially, grab a drink and buckle up….seriously buckle up!
Cheers!

Don’t forget to give us a review on Apple Podcasts. You’ll need to have an Apple account to post, but once you do, slide into our DM’s @wheelingwineandwhiskey on Instagram and we’ll send you a sticker so you can show you are a fan of one of the finest off-roading podcasts that exist.

You can call us and leave a voicemail. I’m not sure what happened with the section of the show notes with the number to call, but here it is: (408) 800-5169. Lorenzo would love to hear from you and we’ll play it on the show. How fun is that?!?

Hi Guys - recovering from Clinic. As for the 1940's, the coolest glasses ever were the 1940 Aviators. They were made by RayBan and Solarex and probably others. Not only are original 1940 glasses for sale on EBay and Etsy, there are a BUNCH of modern makes that look just like them. An army surplus store can provide comfortable drab cotton clothes and field equipment that looks '40ish, and no one will argue against a leather flight jacket.
Meanwhile, Thermos was around in 1940, so you can find (or mimic) the same look. I have a Stanley that looks exactly like a 1940's one. Just don't drink out of a 1940's one because they used lead for the glass coating. And, a modern steel one will hold up better on the trail.
You just have to pick your garb.
