Airlines in Asia are offering "flights to nowhere" to people who just miss the fun of flying. Really. Australian airline Quantas has jumped on the bandwagon, offering a Boeing 787 ride over the Great Barrier Reef, Sydney Harbor, and the Uluru monolith. A Quantas spokesperson says it sold out in minutes, one of the fastest sellouts in their history.

They used a 787 which is wise, it's probably the best airliner ride going right now, better than a private jet if you get biz class or above.

I'd definitely pay to ride on a 787 doing banks over the Barrier Reef and Ayer's Rock. They probably did a few maneuvers to give it some pizzazz.

This is not even remotely a new thing. Karens complain about everything.

So there is a global climate change fucking up everything and people fly around for sight seeing. Fire up your PC and put on VR goggles for fucks sake...

that PC that's full of toxic shit that was mined out of the earth using diesel fuel.
built in a country with zero environmental regulations.
and then shipped to your country on a big ass boat burning bunker oil.
Then shipped to your house or store on a truck burning diesel fuel.
That PC and VR goggles?

also, they wouldn't be doing sight seeing tours if world governments hadn't freaked the fuck out and destroyed their business.
with the full support of people like you.

take your high horse and ride it the fuck out of here.

Seems dumb to fly nowhere, but to each their own. Not money I'd spend:laughing:

Well they are at least getting off the ground. The real weird stuff is the Asian air providers doing the same thing, but the plane never takes off. People are paying to go through security, board a plane, sit in it awhile, then get off.

:lmao:That's actually pretty awesome that people are stupid enough to pay for that. Humanity is doomed :smokin:
I hope evil twat and his other logins mentally implode on this one:laughing:

You work on a computer yet you still flew from Germany to San Francisco to work. Hypocrisy much?

Your post is a bit generous. It's not really bunker 'oil', it's more bunker 'tar'.

I like the two green lines of freighters rising up from Australia. The left line is almost all iron ore, the right line is mostly coal.

Look at that left line. It's almost nose to tail.

Look at that shit. Giant bulk freighters lined up by the dozen hauling iron ore to China. A steady stream, within visual eyesight of each other from Port Headland to coastal China.

How do they process iron ore? By blowing air through the molten ore, which attaches to Carbon and pulls it out. What do Oxygen and Carbon make? Why it's Carbon Dioxide.

And coal is, well, coal.

China uses more cement in 3 years than the US used in the entire 20th century.

Cement production creates >3x the amount of CO2 than aviation.

With China being China, I don't want to hear one goddamned thing about CO2 ever again. :crybaby:

That's hard to believe. I could see it being true but jesus...

Ghost cities. Throw up a vast city and it lies empty. In China, apartments sell for more if they're bare concrete because you can finish it the way you want.

The government pay eminent domain compensation per floor. So farmers build tall buildings as fast as they can, using shadow bank financing, so that when they get the boot, the property developers have to pay them back a whole bunch of money. Then they come in and knock those concrete buildings down and build new ones.

Then those buildings sit empty for years and they knock them down and build another set.

Property speculation

The amount of CO2 this all creates makes putting pollution controls on cars in the USA a joke. The only reason to do it is to prevent smog and acid rain in our own country. China is ruining the planet, and fast.
