Engine compartment Cast aluminum cleaner

So all the shit in my engine compartment looks oxidized as shit, from the intake to the alternator, to the AC compressor. (the cast aluminum just has that white crap over it)

Is there any trick to cleaning this shit, without removing every part and cleaning it individually?

curious too. nothing I've seen, except a stiff brush, has done it for me in the past
