Elon Musk: if you’re a registered Pennsylvania voter you and whoever referred you will now get $100 for signing our petition

So, not paying people to vote Trump, but slanting the petition so Cumala voters aren't interested...

Why does it seem that "signing a petition" is going to share a lot of space with "give me all of your personal data which I will prompty sell to anyone and everyone"
Eeh. I haven't seen Musk being particularly invasive. Not saying it couldn't happen, but he's mostly on the freedom/privacy side.

Sorry but no way I would sign a generic blanket statement without having read the full petition in advance 1st, pretty dumb if you do...
Sorta like signing an employment or sales contract without reading and finding the fine print beforehand...

Also take exception to grandizing and pulling the old wrapping oneself in the flag argument in a debate...doesnt work with me.

There's no "full petition", just what I posted above. "I pledge my support for the 1st and 2nd Amendments."
It's a blatant contact harvesting operation- "sign up here if you want to be contacted".

It's a push to get people in swing states to register to vote, especially Pennsylvania. Elon has been very vocal about it. The hope is if a ballot shows up in their mailbox, a certain percentage will turn it in. It's a page right out of the democrat playbook. The dems also take the next step and send people to "help" fill out the ballot and turn in it for them.

And team red takes this initiative with 3 weeks left instead of 3.80 years ago

Yeah. :/

Just got Elon on board, though.

Interesting how the "Fight!" speech seemed like an overnight conversion for him. Maybe he was leaning toward politics already, and that was the trigger.

listened to his and Tuckers interview on X which is pretty good and a little scary but there's a few places in the interview where I'm not sure he understands other humans???

I think he has Asperger's or something similar. He seems pretty socially retarded. So yeah, basically I honestly don't think he does understand other humans.

doesnt bother me. I am a fan. even if he wasnt so damn rich, Id still be a fan.

Definitely an interesting guy who has done a lot of amazing things. Can't say I'm really a fan or a hater really.

But it is pretty amazing watching the leading EV guy become widely hated by the left and embraced by the right. Didn't have that on my 2024 bingo card.

totally youd think he would be the most liberal hippy douchebag, but he is full on MAGA

if he buys and lifts an f350, ill love him forever

Why would anyone pay attention to a petition that people were paid to sign?

It says little about those supporting these rights and more about people who like a free $100.

Sure, could be both but that is what makes it meaningless.

Glad someone else brought this up. I was thinking the same. I can't think of a way to make a petition more useless than openly saying you'll pay people to sign it.

I definitely love what he's doing for the "first", and his space program is unparalleled, along with many other innovations. But, during that interview with Tucker talking AI he didn't seem to realize that other people has ambitions, that as long as he could keep being productive for us, we wouldn't still have the urge to be productive ourselves. His response and demeanor just seemed weird.

JMHO
