Donald Trump will be America’s 47th president, CNN projected Wednesday, after mounting the most momentous comeback in political history that will hand him massive, disruptive power at home and will send shockwaves around the world.

Four years after leaving Washington as a pariah, following his attempt to overturn the 2020 election to stay in office, Trump’s victory defied two assassination attempts, two presidential impeachments, his criminal conviction and many other criminal charges.

Trump vowed at his Mar-a-Lago resort early Wednesday to “heal” the nation, to fix its borders and to deliver a strong and prosperous economy after millions of his voters turned to him amid frustration over high prices for food and housing and embraced his plans for a crackdown on undocumented immigrants.


But Trump’s new mandate will raise fresh fears that he plans to follow through on his belief that presidents enjoy almost unlimited authority. He vowed on the campaign trail to use a new White House term to enact “retribution” and has openly talked about using America’s governing institutions, and even the military, to punish his foes. He has pledged to launch a mass deportation of undocumented, and even some legal, immigrants that could set off a showdown with the courts.

What I want to know is what happens inside the dem party and electorate in reaction to the party pushing for years a clearly diminished man, then executing a coup to undemocratically replace him without any input from the electorate. If I were a dem voter, I would be mighty angry.

Nothing good. I was just talking to someone about this. I almost forgot Biden was President. After last night Kamala fades back into total obscurity as a lame duck VP after being the center of attention for months and Biden is still President. How fucking awkward you think the white House gonna be the next two months wow. There will be a blame game the likes of which we have never seen.
 
My bitch is the media will learn nothing about how this reflects the views of the American people.

They will blame everything else except the candidate, the policy’s and the fact they don’t represent the majority.

Agreed. They'll let this administration quietly disappear and move on. Why publicize their failures publicly? The machine will adapt and survive, Joe and Kamala will get thrown under the bus if needed but more than likely they'll simply skate on everything and go home to their millions.

I do wonder how the dem world will view the Bidens after this.

It won't come from them. It will be done by proxy. The Biden loyalists have the pitchforks out and frankly I don't blame them. He was a potato but he at least was an elected (debatable but he did receive votes) potato, not an installed one.

Probably pretty similar to pre-2020 I imagine. He's never been popular with the party at large and everyone was shocked when Obama chose to ran with him and again when he was shoved in place for the Presidential run. I bet he's barely mentioned though, the DNC will shift focus back to screeching about Trump and making up shit like Russian collusion. They won't direct any of the fallout at Biden or themselves I bet.

As far as the dems reaction:
A crisis will happen in the next 6 weeks and they will 25th Biden so they can have their first female president. Kamala will have failed upward to the highest office. She “will fix the crisis” and the dems will give themselves a collective handjob over how great a woman president was. :stirthepot::stirthepot::stirthepot:

I have no doubt that the Biden family hates the DNC with the passion of a million burning suns, but there is so much dirt on them that they won't say a peep (in public).
