In need of a recommendation for a good pocket flash light that lasts. I'm tired of these junk streamlights breaking every few months. I've been using the Stylus Pro. Eventually they just stop working, something rattles loose inside. I've heard Fenix makes a good light. Whats everyone using? I want one with a clip at the end so its not sticking up out of my pocket very far. Yeah yeah, my phone has a light on it, it sucks for looking at shit on cars.

I've got a bunch of Fenix lights of various vintages, no issues with them.

I like the USB-C rechargeable ones, just easier than changing out batteries and even the littlest ones last ages if you aren't trying to light up the world with them for hours.

Torque Test Channel on youtube does flashlight reviews, mostly to call out the crazy lumen advertisements, but still good info.

Besides losing it, no complaints. About a year old.

Robot or human?

Found mine on the sidewalk 4-5 years ago, lost it for a few months last year and tried several different similar options. I was glad I found this one again. Added the clip off of a craftsman screwdriver for a hat clip when needed. I've abused it pretty severely, hell I used it for a punch last week. The hammer goofed up the rubber button but it's still going.

Don't know which Streamlights you keep breaking, but I've carried a Microstream for a long time without an issue.

I had one where the switch went wonky several years ago, sent it back to Streamlight and they sent me a brand new one, no problem.

this is my edc and I love it. Compact and super bright!

Work issues stylus pros. Mine has been good for 10 months. Another guy has worn his down to raw aluminum with no problems. Not sure how you're breaking them.
Both of mine are worn down to raw aluminum. The first one is worn down so much that the ridges are completely smoothed over. It rides in my pants pocket next to my EDC Benchmade. My current one the switch is wonky and sometimes wont work. Same issue happened with my last one until it finally just stopped working all together.

Klarus HA2C, perpendicular beam to the body and a magnet base. It is designed as a headlamp but is just as convenient to edc and clip on you shirt if you need 2 hands and don't have any nearby metal surfaces.

I repped Streamlight for years their stuff is legit. Their safety guy also scared the shit out of me about lithium batteries and their fire risk. Don't ever leave them on a charger any longer than necessary and don't ever store them lose in a bag.

In a AA light, Fenix E12, Reylight LAN or Pineapple, olight I5T

The rechargeable Streamlight stylus pro has been good for me, btw

Rechargeable with a laser pointer. I use the laser pointer way more than i ever expected. Will buy again.

Fenix PD 35. Been carrying it every day since 2014. It's still just as bright as new just a little scuffed up from use. I recommend them now to any one that asks. Used to carry Streamlights and Pelican lights at work since that's what was provided. Prefer the Fenix though.
You can get them cheaper at Fenix than you can at Amazon too. PD-35

I have a lot of flashlights. A lot. Nitefire, Felix, Olight, Streamlight, snap on, etc. etc. This little guy is amazing for tossing in the pocket. But the real champ of my entire collection is the one I use the most:

Super bright, charge lasts forever, great magnet, super durable. Can't recommend this guy enough.

what ever CountyComm has in the size you want.

I run this one. Only thing I don't like about it is it starts on low power so I gotta click the button 2-3 times to get good light

Made in USA too

I keep a few headlamps handy. They are awesome when working under something, or outside in winter for here.

Even the $25 for 2 rechargeable ones work good and last long.
