What the fuck are you talking about...?

These reservations here have been here the whole time. This is just changing a legal statue.

The indian nations here have everything better than non native americans. My gf, cherokee, gets free health care and it better than my health care. They actually take care of there elders better than the states do and they enrich their people better than the states do.

ive also been to the rez' up north and it a way different world.

This state was divided of the 5 civilized tribes

And the nations are way more strict on their crimes...

I know in OK they is way more pride in being a Native. I thought alot of the rez land had been sold off but guess that's not correct.

You can own land within the reservation here, you just pay the nation your taxes and you have to run stuff by them before you develop. Same thing as any normal government. I, white guy, own 360 acres in cherokee nation.

Osage nation on the other ...hah..ahha You can buy the land there but you dont own further down than top soil..if oil is found on your lands they drill a hole in your fucking bedroom. Source...I worked for one of those oil companys

Who pays for that free health care?

What is next?
Give the 13 original colonies back to the British because they lost too....

Drive North of Cleveland on 99 and tell us how the Osage have done with the mineral rights of Osage County in the last 50 years

Isn't that the truth. The most positive thing to happen to Osage Co in the last few decades has been a fat white woman selling sausage gravy.

You spend a lot of quality time at the Casino like a retard, do ya?

Sorry Skippy, other than going with some friends to the buffet one night, (man those guys could eat) I have never had any desire to go to a casino. My gambling has always been confined to Monoply board game, unless of course you call being an adrenaline junkie when I was younger gambling.

Most of the rez's here in NM, and I say most not all since I haven't been to all of them, are dumps. For all the money that goes into them I'd think they'd be better off. Healthcare for them might be good because they sure need it. It's damn rare to see a skinny native not that it's common to see a skinny non-native either I guess. Education and motivation to get off the rez seem to be an issue as well. The opportunity is there, it just seems not as many as you'd think take advantage of it.

As for crime, if you're native there is no crime unless you kill another native. There have been a few cases of natives killing others and it gets buried in the courts or covered up. I worked with natives of the tribes around ABQ and was on multiple occasions invited to go hunting on the rez, out of season etc. I asked and was told the game wardens don't care so long as you're a native or with a native. OK must be a vary different place, and it's too bad the other tribes can't be like that too.

I have had some dealing with the tribes if you are a member of one of the leaders families you get all sorts of special perks.
Used to see them driving down the road 5 guys with big cowboy hats on squeesed into the front seat of the pickup, women and kids in the back.
I don't know if they cleaned up their act, but a buddy in the 70s was a car stereo installer and he hated installs in their pickups, the first thing he had to do was pull up to the dimpster and shovel out the dirty diapers.

The tribes here are....really different than other places, but they intergrated into society more so..mostly by force

You talking about the lady that her husband’s family owns a ranch West of Pawhuska and she is on TV?

Yep, Paula Deen. Pawhuska has supposedly gotten much nicer since that became a big deal. It was flat out depressing the last time I was there 6 or 7 years ago.
