Wow, really looks nice! There's a guy a couple miles from my house that has a pretty clean one, but not as nice as yours. He just has a bikini top and drives it daily.

Got my Chinese hood props to work.

Center console is all buttoned up, stereo sounds awesome!

engine facia/fan shroud took a little massaging to get to fit under the hood but should be good now.

Finally installed my radiator overflow bottle. Anybody know what the open container laws are in Colorado?!?

Those hood struts are very convenient. Perhaps 'saftey equipment' after knocking prop out and getting hit on the head by the hood.

I assume you disposed of that whiskey properly.

Overflow is cool. You going to put some rubber between the sharp/hard steel?
So that was the original plan but after it was all said and done I don’t think it needs it. It doesn’t budge with the screw bolted down. Vibration may cause issues, but that glass is thick so we’ll see. Worst case scenario I have to “find” another whiskey bottle….

Damn! That hood is heavy too!
So actually I really don’t like whiskey. Had to buy my Dad the bottle and force him to drink it all last time he was in town. He wasn’t mad about it.

windshield installed tonight! And my buddy is wrapping up the custom engine badge! I’m pretty fortunate to have such great friends!

Doors and top.
alignment on the doors isn’t perfect going to take some tweaking.
Couple laps around the neighborhood have found some issues. Valve cover leak, tmsn leak, floor boards getting super hot from the exhaust. Going to keep on plugging away though.

Understood.

I was just having a flash back to my father's old Bronco barely catching the edge of the stock front bumper on a rock and it folding back and tweaking the grill and fender like nothing
Hey, remember that time I thought this was a good idea but not urgent?....

I had a couple other issues but they'll buff... Almost back together now. Check out my FB or Insta for the trail video.

I'm not going to say I told you so :flipoff2: I hope there wasn't any major damage to the grill and fender.

Looks like you had some fun out at the Super Celebration! I need to make it out there one of these years.

I've forgotten, what size axleshaft was that?

I barely read anything.. I was mostly just lookin at the pics..

that cage looks pretty weak.. Id seriously consider adding more supports (make triangles at corners, etc)

Yeah yeah definitely doing it this winter, not much damage, was able to pull it back out with my buddies winch, it’ll need a little paint but nothing crazy.
Shafts were after market 31 spline 1541, issue was they necked down at the spline and that’s right where it broke.
New shafts are Moser and don’t neck down. Hopefully they hold up.

Yep the cage is not a rock crawling cage for sure. Gussets and triangulation would help, also still need to tie them into the frame. Seats are attached to the cage so right now I’d hopefully walk away from a roll but it definitely needs my future attention.

That’s a great looking EB. What’s the plan with the race car? You gonna pull off the bypasses and run 4800?

Do i see a single reid pass knuckle and high steer arm just for the drag link, is driver stock?

I have to figure my new steering out. Reids on both sides, have both highsteer arms and am currently just knuckle over with my tie rod.

Good eye! Yep I used a Reid knuckle on the passenger side to get the drag link up close to parallel and match the panhard angle. Driver is still stock.

Bronco rides so much better with my current steering geometry. Legit was just doing 80mph on I-25 30 minutes ago. Handles better than my wife's Jeep JK.

Probably why we just upgraded!
