it has been forever since I put these together, and I don't recall the answer.
Question, does the gear oil level for the crawl box transfer back into the main case?

example
marlin said dump a ?quart? into the crawl box and then fill the mail case if I recall...
I remember that the gear oil in the crawl box would drain out the main case's drain plug given time.
It was slow like molasses in January but it did......Is that right?
So what I am getting at is this, if I top up the main case level without pulling the crawl box shifter and filling it separately am I gunna be low on lube?

Jimbo is the master, start there. He’ll be up here tonight, I’ll ask if he is in the road all day.

A 3 second Google image search would have given you your answer. Those bearings are not sealed.

That's what I remember, but then Marlin used to say " must disconnect the driveline to flat tow"
Then years later said, " not so much "???
He took the early tech days with him, looks like no mo geardrive support on the website.

I tried to buy a R10 a few years ago and it wasn't available and there wasn't much of anything in stock but RC cars and stuff.

FWIW I fill my front case through top shift hole and fill till it dribbles out the rear fill plug. It doesn't take long at least not with Redline.

That's how I fill mine as well, dump it all in the front case and let it drain into the rear.. I only put two qts in, anything more than that and it vents out until it's down to two qts
