I cut the 1.25sq tube off the new cross and put the oem drive shaft back in. didnt touch the angles on either end. it drives almost fine. very very faint(could be the road) noise/vibe up north of 80/90 and all the way to 110.

Im going to leave it in and drop to the 90mph class and go have fun. tired of fretting over this stupid shit.

just had to be different and build a long bed. fuckign dumb ass. :lmao:

F it go have fun and start again after you get back!

and by start again you (i mean me) mean get a rolling c5 car and put my parts in it?

I approve, the war department does not. :lmao:
That is exactly what I mean! We are here for you buddy!😅

if you're having the driveshaft cut up and splabulated about, make the front section longer than the stubby lil bit that it is and the rear section shorter than it is

the entire point of adding a carrier bearing is to shorten the sections, may as well make them equal length while you're at it

The newly acquired white truck would take all those same parts and you already own it so I don't see the need to ask permission from anyone. :flipoff2:

Think you head off this week. Safe travels

Have a blast. I recall one year we dropped a speed class and were on the podium as a result.
L2L was fun at any speed

Are you still going to do the half mile drag?

Enjoy the pancake breakfast

We're here now! After the crash and death in '21 they require two laps on the loup road. Made it thru tech after putting a pool noodle over the hot terminal on the battery.

Going to make a pass on the mile shoot out. Just won't push it to hard.

Had not heard of that incident, not surprised though. Narrow roads, high horsepower, drivers who might not be on top of their game anymore, and one year we had damp but drying conditions. Saw a couple cars in pastures that year

Sitting the rain on the north end now. Hear there was a car got off and rolled, drivers ok.

We're 2 second too fast. My son is driving the South leg.

Link to this event so I can understand wtf is going on:idea:

And then?

I am close to trying to figure out the wicked vibration in my dads burb with a 2 piece rear.
It's lowered like yours and I suspect that makes all this shit even harder than normal.
